Default Herpa Wings De Havilland DHC-7 "Dash 7" HE557795

I got this little gem from DiecastAirplane.com

Herpa Wings
De Havilland DHC-7 "Dash 7"
Reg: C-GNBX
Prototype/House Colors
Item: HE557795

I wanted to expand my House Color collection hence why I got this release. To be honest I didn't even knew about the De Havilland DHC-7 "Dash 7" until I saw it mentioned on the forum. Luckily enough Herpa Wings made this little Canadian aircraft in it's striking red/orange color scheme so it really stands out in the collection. Here's some pictures:

I didn’t realize Herpa made this model. Great photos! That’s a sharp paint job too. Thanks for sharing!

I flew on one of these long ago (City Express) and it was sure was memorable, thanks to the STOL characteristics in such a larger aircraft. Thanks to Herpa for producing this model.

It would be great to have an AF version of this model but with the AF Museum and Socatec, when there is no will there is no way.

Uniess I try my luck and ask Herpa.

Jean Pierre.

The AF would be pretty cool. I have the house colour and it is very well made.

That prototype version was released several years ago, actually. One great model and, generally, a great release as type of aircraft from Herpa.

I hope they will produce Spantax soon, now that they have done many of the (maybe) more popular airline liveries already. Spantax operated a single DHC-7 on behalf of Iberia on the flag carrier’s route to the Spanish enclave of Melilla in North Africa.

It’s a beautiful model and I highly recommend the PAN AM version (which is btw actual a bargain at the shop of the famous MINIATURWUNDERLAND in Hamburg (only EUR 29 !!! ).

https://shop.miniatur-wunderland.de/...ess-1-200.html

For the same price they also have other 1:200 HERPA models on offer like the F-27 TAT or the DC-6 UTA or even the PLAYBOY DC-9.

The Pan Am DHC-7 is listed but actually no longer available, so either bargains are.

Congrats with this beautiful model.
Never saw this version before.

I personally have Herpa's Tyrolean and I must say it ads colour to my collection.

I’d like to add this one to my collection. I have the Wardair release as well as a custom Air Tindi model. I want the Hawaiian Airlines one too.
