Hello Fellow Members,
Finally received the JC WINGS A380 Etihad "YEAR OF ZAYED 2018" model. Having missed out on the Gemini version, I was more than happy to get my hands on this beautiful model. She now sits with the rest of the fleet. The stand is an interesting concept which adds to the overall look of the model. Enjoy the pics.

That model sure looks fine, and as you said the base does look interesting
does the thumb screw actually raise and lower the arm ?

Hello PNR1:200 in Melbourne,

As you've guessed it, the thumb screw does raise and lower the model. Without the model on it, it doesn't feel very sturdy, but once the weight of the model is attached she's just fine. Also, there's a red "remove before flight" tag connected to the tag as well as a title plate that can be shown on the right side or the left side.

ps Hope the weather improves in Victoria.

PS: Your have to fix the inner main landing gears… they are not correct

Unfortunately, the only A380's we see in Darwin are technical and medical diverts. Looks like there's another future A380 release by JC Wings, hopefully to get my hands on that as well.

Etihad's livery is very unique and contextual. The colors they chose are truly reflective of the Arabian peninsula's geography, culture and history. However, not sure of the cult of personality flying poster iteration in this case.
