Default Gemini 200 FedEx A310

Arrived this morning. A big improvement from the Hobby Master plus it's "Express" rather than the older "Federal Express" on the Hobby Master which they used before they rebranded Roadway as FedEx Ground.

This almost completes the mainline fleet...still need someone to make a DC-10-10.

Thanks. I know I said complete the mainline fleet but and I don't mean this to come off the wrong way...but I don't consider the 737-800 to be real FedEx since it's contract.

My trainee at work called an Endeavor a Delta this week.

Trainee: Delta XXX climb and...
(Me): It's Endeavor...
Trainee: Correction, Endeavor XXX...
Endeavor: (sigh) Maybe one day...

Very nice pics and a very nice cargo fleet! Glad I ordered this one too. Hope that inflight brings us a DC10-10 or 30 soon.

Very nice A 310 and beautiful models nicely displayed.

I have always thought that a Falcon 20 with the early purple livery would be a good idea.
A model for NG ?

I read somewhere that Cessna is developing the Cessna 408 especialy for FedEx for entry into service in 2020. Pretty special too imo, even though it will probably fly with one of more contractors.

I just bought the A300 and it's a really nice addition to my fleet. Not sure if I'll get the A310 though, since it's pretty much retired

Very nice FedEx A310 to go with a very nice FedEx fleet. Gemini Jets really hit the bullseye with this new mould. This one will probably sell out sooner than later. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I actually made a custom of the FX 408 fairly recently. Sad it's supposed to replace the 208, but it would be cool to see something new buzzing around.

The A310 came out excellent ! Much better than the HM version.

Nice photos. I too have the A300 and that's enough for my collection. It flies over a couple times a day going into BUR.

BTW the 767 should have main gear tilted forward. ✈️

Wow, really nice FedEx collection!

I was thinking to get one as well, but I can’t decide between the A300 and the A310...

I think the A300’s undercarriage is fixed. Is it the same for the A310‘s!?

Thanks. If you’re talking about the noticeable seam on the A300 then no, it’s the same. The A310 is better.

Yes unfortunately, the A300 mold has that noticeable seam around the wing-box, and I think the landing gears are permanently glued on !?..

I wanted to know if the A310's landing gears are removable !?

I really like the GJ A310. My only complaint would be the wing fences are a little thick. Doesn't really bother me though. I picked up the FedEx version as well.

I would love to see JC or GJ rework the A300.

Yes. This one is called "Yunsei" and it is tiny on the Gemini 200 model. But it is there. I love the A310 mold.

All FedEx operated aircraft are named after the kids of employees. I don’t know if those 737’s operated by West Atlantic are.

Thanks for the explanation. I have the A300 and B777 and often wondered where the names came from.

Yesterday was a decision day, between choosing the FedEx A300 or the A310...

After a side by side, close examination from all angles, of both models, weighing in each of the pros and cons, I chose the A300 FedEx.

A really nice model, which perhaps in the future, some improvements would be considered...
