Default Little and LARGE

I was just wondering how many collectors have identical models in different scales. This is my latest pair (Inflight 1/200 & Aeroclassics 1/400)

I have quite a few in both scales since I get 1:200 versions of aircraft that I've flown and I get, well, just about anything in 1:400

But my prize possessions in both scales would have to be all the Iron Maiden jets as well as a pair that I have thanks to you Mike:

(well, OK not quite identical since the regos are different. )

As usual, great model pix, Agent!

Out of curiosity: which One Eleven’s tail is painted correctly? The large one with the straight-horizontal black stripe at top (right beneath the vertical stab) or the small one with the rather diagonally painted black stripe?

Thanks, Agent, good to know. I mixed up things due to the posting you quoted in your picture post. So, JC Wings wasn’t able to keep up the same standard... strange.

Sadly the 1:1 BEA A319 is sidelined with unforeseen maintenance issues beyond economical repair and will not fly again. Parked at LHR and to be retired in early February.

Correct...yes indeed, I tried to confirm as it was mentioned several times by LHR spotters on the latest BigJetTV video broadcast from LHR New Years Day.
I guess I spoke to soon without confirmation..either way glad it will continue flying!

A decent Trident, any type, with the BEA livery would be great ...

Both are custom made. Here is a comparison between Panda(with a minor error on the telephone number side) and the custom in 1/400.

The Faroes are a small group of islands in the north east Atlantic Ocean between mainland Scotland and Iceland. Despite being an outpost of Denmark it has its own small airline, Atlantic Airways.

Now that is really little and LARGE. I bet you need a LARGE display cabinet for the 1/36.

How much does 1/36 and 1/25 run? a couple thousands? kinda disappointing that the 1/36 doesn't have more details. missing the aerials..... I was expecting a lot more details to be avail in such larger scale

Amen to that. I succumbed to he temptation to pick up a few 1:100s over the years, and they are nice, but take up a huge amount of space.

The fact that the 1/36 is photographed outside is telling. I am guessing that it is not just because the light was better.... beautiful model though.

They are not done for details but for purposes which rather require a simple (or durable) structure due to transportation and installation sites.

Real tomato ketchup Eddie?
Nothing but the best! "I don't know why they call this stuff hamburger helper. It does just fine by itself, huh? I like it better than tuna helper myself, don't you, Clark?"
