Default DC 10 Paint quality issue being fixed by inflight

Hello,

just a heads up inflight is working on the issue of fixing the paint quality of the dc 10's. Also the a310 is having its nose and cockpit windows re-done !!

That's good news! Hopefully it will be corrected for the upcoming Pan Am release.

Seeing before buying is a good idea until this issue is confirmed to be fixed. Ask your retailer to inspect before shipping if you are not able to get to the store.

With the Airbus documents I already published you have everything you need to make your own valid judgement.

GE engine nacelles are also available, two engines, -80A3 and -80C2

You mean the horribly shaped cockpit area (+ printings) and the oversized engine nacelles together with the excessive high stance of the entire model? Yeah, would've loved to see Inflight to just retool the entire mould and take Herpa's DC10 as a source of inspiration. Inflight's DC10 was a very welcome addition to the collecting community a few years ago but shows its age very much now. It desperately needs overhaul.

Finally someone is with me about Herpa's DC10.. It is a lovely mold, too bad they don't use it anymore..
