In the late 60’s during the height of the Vietnam war my father a navy surgeon was assigned at the US naval base in Subic Bay in the Philippines. We would often go to Manila and stay with my dad’s friend who was a USAF Colonel training pilots for the Philippine Air force and whose house in the air base I remember was literally next to the main runway of the airport in Manila. Over a year ago, memories came flooding back when I made an search of these 2 airlines and found pictures of the aircrafts and liveries that I remember so well. Donor models were from the cheaper Herpa, HobbyMaster and Del Prado models (and Flight Miniatures for the 1/100 DC-3s- https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...76#post2725776
). Custom built by Sergei from ASModels.
