Sorry to get the die-cast crowd all excited but these 2 beauties were consigned with Sergey (asmodels.com.ua) If anyone is looking for a nice Russian model he is your best and only choice. His communication from the Ukraine is spot on as he constantly sends photos via email with updates of how the models are progressing during construction, he has a very high attention to detail, and follows all that up with very careful packing and shipping of his models with tracking too.
I along with another DACer had 7 models commissioned in which I received 2. I saw the other pics of the completed models and all were excellent choices too.
I sent the fuselage of a LUPA AN-124 to have gear and antennas added ( thank you Dacer DouglasDC5 for the tip), yes I know one gear is missing it was loose and I have it. and commissioned a VIP Soviet IL-62. I was worried when I received the model noting it had a raised box on the roof towards the back, but when I pulled up the pics of the real deal, that is 100% accurate. Must be some type of satellite communication or whatever else a VIP plane would have. It looks nice next to the IL-96 on gears too..
I just love ruski planes, probably from seeing them from the late 1960s at London.
Just don't get why Gemini or IF haven't done the AN124 and may have to look into gears to my Lupa one.
Am notably missing an Il96 and TU204 otherwise have bases covered
The IL62 looks way better than my HAM version.

Very nice Russian planes indeed. Didn't know that Lupa has made a an124 in the first place. The added gears are looking very professional. Great additions to your fleet!
