As mentioned in one of the FB groups - the logo colours on the tail are incorrect. They’re inverted. The I is supposed to be red, not yellow...

How pathetic. No wonder they're not selling. Somewhere out there is a graphic designer looking for a new job.

The front door on the left is sitting too low, i'd say 2-3mm which does not sound much, but keep the scale in mind.

Well, I sold Inflight model, as I prefer JC Wings mould, and... Will have to return JC, so maybe third time - I will get correct IB 727. Is anybody checking final product? Wrong colors, (in other cases) misspelled words. OK that's a toy but maybe it is better to take 60 seconds to check if averything is printed OK. On the other hand - maybe producers are so wealthy they do not care what they release? Good for them if they can afford.

I received the AF version pre ordered in ... March 2018.

The mould is fine but, livery is fine, unfortunately the emergency escape ways and APU exhaust on the wings are missing.
These details were added with home made decals.

Jean Pierre,

As far as I remember, the Air France and Iberia versions were announced at the same time, so we waited almost 18 months for the models. I must admit I could live with missing emergency exit markings on the wings but the error
on the Iberia model is unacceptable. Just imagine the blue tail stripes on the Air France were red and the red one was blue. Same mess - different model. Taking into account that the Iberia 727 is excellent otherwise, I sincerely hope JC wings is doing a corrected version; should be an easy task for them just to change the order of colors on the tail wing logo.

And, by the way, my retailer just send me a return label for the model. Great I’m living in Europe.

Just coming back to the topic. I have interesting dispute with one of retailer that claims EC-CFA JC Wings with inverted IB colors on fin (I yellow and B red) - is perfect and that color scheme actually exist (that very airframe in such "wrong" color scheme actually existed). I rarely ask for help but this time trying to find "proof" I gave up. Maybe you may help me and may find support to confirm that EC-CFA in such livery as on the picture (IB logo) really existed?

Show them a picture of the JC Wings box art that clearly depicts a red I and a yellow B

Nice model, though, the front door needs to sit "ontop" of the wings - becoming more visible when the plane wears a cheatline livery. And on the Iberia and asweöö the AF the door sits "below" the wing...

This is completely stupid, just ask your retailer to bring you the proof that this logo with the inverted colors really existed.

There is no picture of it.

He could also check "IBERIA logo" on google.

Sorry, wrong picture, the model previously shown was a jet X product.

Here is a picture of the JC Wings model, the two models are slightly different but both are very good.

I have no problem with the doors.

If someone (i.e. the seller) claims something, he has got to prove its correctness. In the meantime, just tell him to refer to JC Wing’s box-art for this model - that should close the discussion once and forever. And think about changing your retailer.

PS.: there’s plenty of pictures of this particular aircraft of Iberia with inverted tail colors. Not by accident, however, it’s always the wrongly printed JC Wings model.

Dear Colleagues, I am very grateful for all feedback. Indeed I thought there maybe was an "painting error" as we know some examples of that (eg B777 "Cathay Paciic"). Anyway no arguments work with them, so I bought 2nd correct B727 IB form other source. I will sell somehow "wrong" B727, as I can't start dispute - model was bought on ebay last OCT, arrived only few weeks ago. Many thanks! @DC_10_Tony - I bought it from (I thought) reliable provider, Crownvic recently have a problem with same provider
