Nice releases! GREAT to see the re release of the FedEx MD11!!! KLM A330 also very nice in the new colors. Very curious how Gemini's A310 turns out..
Thanks for posting Crownvic.

I'm guessing both the LH 744 and FedEx MD-11 will both be big winners!
My thoughts exactly! Missed out on the FedaEx the last time around; wont let that happen again. The Lufthansa is also a must for me as its one of my few airlines I try to have one of each.
It's interesting that they chose to model one of the converted from passenger MD-11s rather than a purpose built freighter version like the prior release. The prototype has all of the windows still visible even though they're no longer see through.

Looking forward to this. Hoping every single re-release has a different registration number as well.

Looks similar to the Inflight counterpart - not in a good way....have to see it in person, but judged from that pic i do not expect a good result. My hope for an accurate a310 is Aeroclassics - - and ONLY Aeroclassics. Thy did an amazing job on the 1/400 so why they should fail on a 1/200 version. Several manufacturers seem to have problems in printing cheatlines/windowlines and px doors on the correct level - on common moulds (with thousands of pics of the real thing), why?

Nose looks identical to InFlight. And that's not bad. It's just the way the Airbus looks. That's good news because we now have two big manufacturers offering a wide variety to choose from. Great job GJ and IF.

I am looking at the issues J.P. brought up in my thread "Photos of Inflight 200 A310"
Note that Inflight will be touching up the A310 mould, so this comparrison is with the V 1.0, with only one photo of the GJ so far.
#1 The underside of the PW engines are flat, as they should be on the GJ, it's curved on the IF
#2 The window line goes up near the tail section, looks as though both need a bit more
#3 Window lines, Pan Am titles & emergency door are all to high of IF. Window line and emergency door is much lower, Pan Am titles are maybe even a tad to low on GJ
#4 The nose looks good on the GJ, it's just wrong on the IF.
In my opinion the GJ is vastly superior, the minor issues are not noticeable unless you pull out your dacrometer. Let's see how the IF V2.0 turns out.

you must have taken 1 too many in the eyes, that nose doesn't look a thing like the inflight version.
And definatily a different mold, compare the pics closely and see the difference in nose shape.

Looks very good so far.
Nice bait. Just thought I'd lend an opinion (which I'm entitled to). What's funny is that this whole thread is moot because the A310 is not in my collection criteria. Lol

I have the Pan Am A310 on pre-order. The mould, of course, is far superior to the Hobby Monster version. The only thing that I noticed is the blue ball logo on the tail is a little low, and too small. When PA went to the billboard livery, the logo was enlarged on the tail.

They should pay a little more attention to the shape of the lower half of the wingtip fence. Furthermore, the cabin windows should go upwards a little more towards the rear of the fuselage (perspective of this single photo might not represent the actual angle). Otherwise, it looks nice overall. Cannot say anything about other details, haven't seen it in person yet.

Overall it looks pretty good. better in my opinion than the current Inflight version.
Still I think, that the passenger windows on the Gemini could be a bit larger and the tail appears to be too "thin" (chord length).
But overall I think I will go for it.
what do the others think?
Did you notice that the gj version has winglets and the if has not? And the Pan Am text on the fuselage is different too. Nice that arcunia has both models photographed the same.. good comparison.

Huh? The G200 represents the A310-300, thus the wingtip fences.
The IF200 is the medium range -200 version.
The comparo side by sides shows even more how bad and bungled the IF mold is. Engines too low, weird pylons, wrong shape nose...
The G200 is magnitude more realistic.
Just got both the Fedex MD-11 & KLM A330, the Fedex MD-11 doesn't disappoint at all, she looks gorgeous.. but if i wasn't so slow & a smartphone illiterate, i would probably post some pictures..

I thought that best Geminis moulds were the Tristar 500 and the 757,but this new A310 is really fantastic , the best mould for me
.
For me, GJ is the go-to for the L-1011, 757, and 727. I don't have any Airbus so I cannot comment on them. Though if they were to come out with the A300B4, then I would pounce on an Orion.

The Alaska Max deliveries will be delayed due to grounding.
I'm pretty sure that the Max jokes have already been played out long enough. No one really uses them anymore. At least to the average joes out there whos attention span changes depending on the news cycle.

Has anyone gotten the Alaska 737 MAX? I'm curious as to what the lettering is on the sides of the nose. Hoping it's not the old slogan "Proudly all Boeing", something they've dropped since the Virgin America acquisition and haven't been applying to the repaints and new deliveries.
