Picked up mine yesterday at ARD it is one hell of a model

But I can’t help notice one substantial error on mine. Not sure if this on any others but underneath the crest on the tail mine has ‘To fly to Sewve’ instead of ‘to fly to serve’. This is also printed wrong on the box

It’s only noticeable on a close look. Little unfortunate but nether the less I love it

Not sure if the picture will do it justice as they’re taken on my phone that won’t focus close up

Please let me know if anyone else has this issue

Got the notice from ARD that mine was shipping earlier this week. Can not wait. Thanks for posting the pictures. My eyes are no longer good enough to be able to read the crest motto, so I won’t be worrying about that.

Let’s just hope that the paint stays intact and does not crack as with the original Landor IF G-BNLA

Mine arrived, and just like Reheat101, I love it. It does have a slight nose down attitude, as can be seen in the original pictures above. Still - a cracking model.

While I had the camera out, I grabbed a couple of shots with some other Landor 744s for comparison. First, the original Inflight G-BNLA (the "crazy paving" edition)

G-BNLY British Airways (100 Year Landor Heritage) and G-BNLA (Original Inflight) - Tail Compare by ukjohna, on Flickr

Then - to get the "what color grey" discussion going... JC at the back, Lupa in the middle, Inflight at the front.

Great photo's,

wish i had you're setup with the back ground,

I think G-BNLW in the backgroung in the last photo is a J Fox done by Inflight ?

Not much between them colour wise, Great models,

More please Inflight,

Reheat101.

I think you are right on G-BNLW. I lose track of them after a while... I just checked and it does have the IF wing joint but no IF lettering on the belly.

As to the diorama - thanks. It might look good in the pictures, but in reality there is some careful cropping going on so that you cannot see the bare wooden walls of the "shed" room that it is in. There is no natural light in there either, so the lighting is a couple of Halogen work lights. It gets hot as hell during a longer photo shoot.

Landors scheme imho is BAs most striking livery. Too bad BA did not paint one of their 77Ws in it. (Hint for a Inflight fantasy model )

It's the real deal. And I'm with you; the instant that GJ releases one, she will be added to my hangar.
