Default What 1:200 model is impossible for you to find?

Hello all

Since such a thread isn't here at the 1:200 section but only in the 1:400 section, I thought why not make one for us 1:200 collectors as well.

In this you can make a post of a 1:200 aircraft model you are striving to search for but alas sadly can't find, them frustrations right? XD

So maybe such a thread can be of use, as we can help each other find these hard to seek items maybe?
That is if someone at this large community can Direct Message aka private Message that one person and maybe help them out, that is if they have what that person is seeking all that time.

Dunno how this will all go, but I had an OK feeling that such a topic can be of good use

Anyways I have not found it yet is this one:

Boeing 747-2D7B
Thai Airways International "Classic Livery 1979-1996"
HS-TGA "Visuthakasatriya"
Scale 1:200
Inflight 200

And as optional this one, same plane other reg:

Boeing 747-2D7B
Thai Airways International "Classic Livery 1979-1996"
HS-TGB "
Sirisobhakya"
Scale 1:200
Inflight 200

Either of those is welcome, DM me if anyone has one.

I've been searching for the GJ American polished (bare metal) 757 at a reasonable price for years - at this point I'm just hoping they will produce another one. And I recently worked out that I flew on a Delta MD-11 in the Ron Allen colors so I'm trying to find the SMA version of that as well, and that has proven difficult.

I’m another for the Gemini AA 757 polished. Would really love to add one to my 80s/90s American Airlines collection.

I’d always like to catch a United Airlines 727-100 N7001U.

Nice topic Gold Leader! For me hard to find are;

Lockheed L1011 house colors, inflight 200
Boeing 747-8 -1500th 747 Lufthansa, phoenix 200
Airbus A300F UPS, gemini 200
Boeing 727-100 Sabena delivery-colours, hogan 200
Boeing 747-400F UPS, gemini 200

But luckily now and then a re release is very helpfull!

Skyline Models Caledonian Airways DC-10-30 1:200 - NA - ID#10193 and
Skyline Models Caledonian Airways L-1011-100 1:200 - NA - ID#10192

Both so rare that there isn’t even a picture of them in the database here. I know that this DB is hopelessly out of date, but these are old models, back from when the DB was being regularly updated.

...if anyone has one, you know what to do...

I saw one that went up for auction last year on eBay. It wasn’t popular, I guess. I watched the auction and it sold at a low price.

I love this thread Gold Leader

I have been looking for these two 1/200 models for what seems like forever,

#1: SIA A340-500, Last Flight, 9V-SGE, JC Wings, XX2336
#2: Lufthansa Boeing 720, D-ABOP, Aeroclassics 200, ACDABOP

If someone has one for sale, PM me.
If not, hopefully JC and AC will rerelease these.

You'd have to ask CV, but I don't think Gemini is at all interested in reissuing the beloved 757-200 in our favorite classic liveries. He himself had to search his own closet to finally get one. (lol) Seriously though, Gemini seems to have no desire whatsoever to cater to us '80s enthusiasts. Tragic.

Hereby I just hope we can help each other seek what we are missing and eventually fill in the gaps that way, we are a community after all so we might as well stick together and find our lost dreams

Rock on guys I too will try seeking your lost treasures so hopefully I too can be of aid

PH-BUK was a very popular model that sold out quick, maybe it has something to do with the fact that the real BUK is preserved in the Lelystad Aviodrome allthough she hasn't got the polished belly anymore but the later grey belly.

That's also probably why no one wants to sell it. I want one too for nostalgic reasons, but it looks like I am not the only one

Well you can come visit the Aviodrome and I can give you a tour I am partial owner of the real PH-BUK at the Aviodrome, you can read my review of it here:
https://www.diecastaircraftforum.com...ud-ph-buk.html

My therapist knows the owner and she arranged a Limitless VIP access and partial owner of their B747
PH-BUK currently wears the KLM/Northwest Livery which was applied in 1995 and was used throughout to 2010.

I have visited the PH-BUK a few times already, for some reason as a kid I was always scared that the plane would take off because of the sound you hear inside

But yeah I would really like to have my own little PH-BUK at home, just to remember the first time I saw that giant machine parked outside

The one with winglets or without winglets for domestic routes ?

I've seen one (with no winglets) on ebay. I guess you can try to offer 100 USD for this + shipping.
I just purchased Aeroflot 77W from this guy, price was the same as ANA 139.00, I offered 100USD + shipping and he accepted (now model is on the way), the only one sad thing for me is the shipping which is expensive (over 50 USD).

https://www.ebay.com/itm/EXTREMELY-R...cAAOSw301dG-TV

Also, I've seen one guy [here in Korea] was trying to sell ANA 744 with winglets for pretty long time. He started with 230 USD but then dropped the price to 145 USD.

So I believe you can have both of this models sooner or later.

Also, I've seen one guy [here in Korea] was trying to sell ANA 744 with winglets for pretty long time. He started with 230 USD but then dropped the price to 145 USD.

So I believe you can have both of this models sooner or later.
BBOXANA02 is the one without Winglets but BOBANA03 is with winglets.

BBOXANA02 is an ANA B747-481D (D for Domestic)

BBOXANA03 is an ANA B747-481W (W for Winglets)

Just the clarity to avoid confusion, found this out later myself as well

The winglet version... if you can send me the contact for the Korean fellow, I'd be most thankful.

Yeah no worries B747's are really the one aircraft I love most, so feel free to ask me everything related to them such as different types and such.

There can only be one true Queen of the Skies that is of course the one and only Boeing 747 Jumbo Jet and nothing else

One I don't want to buy!

I have the ANA 747. She's a beaut! I had the JAL Anniversary and regrettably sold it. Funny how I got bored with it when I had it and now miss it now that she is gone...I guess women are like that as well!

Gemini Jets FedEx MD-11....I know it sometimes shows up but always miss it. And I prefer to find one within Europe. I work on that plane regulary and even flown on one, so it's my most wanted.

Both of the Gemini Lufthansa 748s, retro and regular. Can't find them anywhere for a reasonable amount.
