It was mentioned by Mr. RStretton it was a small 3 engine jet. He obviously does not want to leak it out..

Wow, that's a sweet looking tri-holer! Congrats on releasing a brilliant mould.

But......

Sadly, not in my criteria. However, I will keep my eyes peeled for future NG releases.

Ok lads sorry for the delay in posting part 2 - it's the weekend here and footy and family have intervened. Part 2 is just about to be posted in a separate thread but to make amends here are some shots of the two moulds together:

Yes, they are nice but honestly how many of these will the general collectors buy? Maybe 2 or 3?? Don’t see how this is a financially sound choice. I could be very wrong but let’s see. It could also be that these were paid for by someone who just wants them made period and doesn’t care how many are sold.
Hope to see more airline related stuff in future. Definitely the 1/400 collector is getting the better end of NG for the moment.
These are just my thoughts.

Is it really possible to get these done in 1/400.I think in 400 scale it would sell really well.

Qantas to retire 747-438 before it's 100th birthday (founded 16th November 1920)

The last six are 747-438ER's VH-OEE, VH-OEF, VH-OEG, VH-OEH, VH-OEI, VH-OEJ

Thank you NG for these very nice models.

It is true that biz jet models do not have the same appeal to collectors as airliners but some of these aircraft were so successful that they have yet to receive the attention they deserve.

In some cases, it was the beginning of a great story.
Federal Express started operations in 1973 wit more than 30 Falcon 20s.

A Falcon 20 with this livery could sell well.
A model of the prototype was released some years ago.

Excellent idea! The FedEx Falcon 20 would be fantastic. I already preordered mine, and it's not even being considered yet lol.

Amazing model. Didn't FedEx also use the Gates Learjet?

They did but to the best of my knowledge none of them had the purple eye catching livery.

Fair play to them. Yes they may not be in many peoples collecting criteria on here, but there must be a decent market for them corporately and in the silent majority. I know of a couple of collectors that are thrilled at the thought of being able to own a model they never thought would be produced at any scale. Love the fact that NG are pushing envelope again, makes me excited about other types of plane that we thought would never be reproduced in diecast.

Yes, and we certainly don't want to give Gemini Jets any credit for their innovative release and taking the bold step with the Gulfstream 650 in-which the first 2 are already sold out... I guess that wasn't pushing the envelope enough?

Where does this bias come from about collectors not wanting bizjets? As CV just said, Gemini bestowed a brilliant Gulfstream upon us that is selling out fast.

I think having private planes adds an insane amount of realism and opens up a huge potential, especially for diorama airports. Why are some collectors so adverse to having more options in 200 scale? Are you satisfied with the same old moulds over and over, having to spend hundreds on each?

What would a bizjet cost? $40? $50 most? Smh

Place me in the (not so) silent majority.

Who says I don't give GJ any credit? It's just good to see NG push their envelope into another area which is under represented. They could've played safe and just developed another commercial Airliner mould, but didn't.

Skosh, have another beer and chill mate, I expect you'll make more sense after that one 😉😁

Okay. The reason I asked is because of this guy. I know it's just a child's toy and Matchbox had many liveries on this mould. So they could have just used the FedEx livery just to push more sales.

Thanks Jean.

Dude, make your own models if you're gonna whine about everything. NG has been the only manufacturer to even engage in conversation with us and take in our recommendations. It has led to a lot of incredible models most of us could only wish for. Frankly, I don't know why you're even on this site, you don't offer any constructive criticism, just complaints and rude comments to others.

That Lear 45 was part of the Fed Ex corporate fleet. It was the only type of Lear to be in the Fed Ex fleet. The Matchbox model is purely fictitious. I even remember having that same model in a yellow and white livery when I was a kid.

Yeah, I figured Greg. Just Matchbox trying to push a model using various liveries....

But that corporate Lear..., it gives me an idea.
