Angry JC wings is torturing me

HEY JC wings

This and only this for 2019 If you do not produce this model I will never buy anything from you ever again! I waited for 6 stupid months for a JAS A300-622R without JAL logo JA8562

Since this is your 25th thread on this model, I hope you actually do get this one. I move to boycott JCWings until this model is released.

All in favor?

All oppose?

Sending threats to JC wings won't help you i'm afraid.... pre ordered the klm "click" 737-400 in april 2018 and still not available. We have to be patient in this hobby

JC Wings like others will 99% of the time ignore threads like this, patience is key.

IF200 teases their customers with pre-release notices years in advance, maybe JC could adopt this at least to keep their customers in suspense!

or better yet, it could be one of the ones never announced, but just shows up quietly at retailers as if it was some sort of magic!

Now that is funny! I don't buy much JC product, but would not buy upon release as retailers seem to have JC factory sales once or twice a year!

If I got upset with every release that is delayed, or has yet to be made. I would rather be tied to an ant hill.

Name some modelers who offer these services. I also am interested in having a few customs made for myself. I've tried contacting various customizers here with no avail. It may be more difficult than you believe.

Tony, try Chuck in Chicago. [email protected].

He does nice work and from time to time he has his 1:400 customs listed on Ebay.

You have to be patient as sometimes he is away for his regular job. He does this on the side so sometimes you have to be patient.

Good luck.

Hey I feel ya! I pre ordered iNFLIGHT 200 Frontier 727-200 in February. Release date was supposed to be December 2018/January 2019. INFLIGHT has produced the model and is available to order from China however the shipments to the UK apparently have still not arrived to the sellers, henceforth as I am in the USA the eta from my seller is now August/September 2019 and growing!

Anytime! He made a BA Chelsea Rose 747-400 in 400 scale as I flew on one from Nairobi to London back in the day. Also got a nice AVENSA 727-200 in 200 scale he did. I had a few of his other 1:400 scale customs that were nice, but unloaded them after enjoining them awhile as I'm scaling down my collection in 400 scale. He did a nice Pacific Western 737 in the Stardust Oki showgirl livery in 400 scale. I believe I still have this one laying around in the airplane storage room.

Good luck!

Man, you gave me some ideas now. There is an InFlight200 727 that I've been wanting since I became a member here. But I've never seen one even come up for sale. Since Gemini/JCW have the better mould, I may try the custom route on that one.

Great that is the way to go! I have been pleasantly surprised by the customs I've owned over the years. Definitely get the G200/JCW/JETX 727 as a donor. Sometimes he can locate a donor for you.

That's what I'm talking about! I'm just beginning to try my hand at customs, so if I fail miserably, then I know where to go.

JC Wings is torturing me with the wait for the AA 767-200. Every online retailer had an estimated delivery date of May, but that date has long passed. I didn’t realize that JC is as slow as Inflight 200 when it comes to new releases. Gemini is the only one that turns them out when they say they will. Oh well. Still, I always pre-order so as not to be disappointed if it sells out.

I'm with ya, brother. The other day, I mentioned that I totally forgot that I preordered her myself.

Better to be safe than sorry. Sometimes I put off buying a model thinking that I'll just buy it upon release, only to be shell shocked when I miss out on it later.

I have so many memories associated with that plane, from the late 1980s/early 1990s, it was the plane that took me on my first trip to Europe, flying to Lyon, France. Also worked aboard it going to Brussels, Zurich, Stuttgart and my first trip to London after AA bought the Heathrow routes from TWA. Great little plane for flight attendants- 10 of us in the cabin crew and only 164 passengers in three classes of service. Those were the days. Now we work with 10 flight attendants on a 777-200 with 273 passengers! Talk about increasing your work load.

The ARD website has a picture of the finished product, it looks great.

JCW is not in the custom aircraft business. If you are the only one asking for it do you think they are going to release it just for you? NOT. If you want it yesterday then I would contact Roger Jarman at Atlantic Models in Miami. He can satisfy your needs faster than JCW can.
