Default Here the final 3 B747's! No: 30, 31 & 32!

Hey all,

It's been quite a ride for the past 5 years, even before I joined the forum, today I just bought the last three Boeing 747's for my collection as the 30th, 31rst & 32nd B747's go that are these:

The first two from Arcunia, mainly thank their help for reserving me these as well yesterday

B747 No 30:

Boeing 747-481D
All Nippon Airways "Pokemon Pocket Monsters Livery (Jan 1999 - Feb 2006)"
JA8964
Scale 1:200
J-Fox Models

B747 No 31:

Boeing 747-438ER
QANTAS Australia "Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Livery 2016"
VH-OEJ "City of Longreach - Wunala"
Scale 1:200
JC Wings

This last one I bought at Aviation Mega Store, they had the best deal for it and had it in stock as well:

B747 No 32:

Boeing 747-8KZF/SCD
Nippon Cargo Airways "NCA 30th Anniversary 2015"
JA14KZ
Scale 1:200
Gemini Jets 200 / JC Wings

My reasons are of the many these being my last 3 B747's for starters I don't have a B747-400D, I don't have a B747-400ER and I don't have a B747-8F that last one is the future for the B747 in the long run and the carriers that being ANA and Pokemon Yeah I needed that it just looks awesome heck there is even a Plesiosaur on it so that was always a must have the NCA B747-8F is flown by a friend of mine, even a member of this group aka Lou Boyer, I needed Snake Man's jet obviously for many reasons and the VH-OEJ, well my friend Lynley Quedley flew on several times, RIO 2016 was very cool to watch on TV, I seen this plane a few times myself, all in all it was a must have as well, so it made sense to get QF's B747-438ER with these last three.
For the final Display placing:
The ANA & NCA will be a display set the THAI B747-4D7 goes under my Singapore Tropical Megatop the Malaysia B747-4H6 94 years goes under Malaysia B747-4H6 Hibiscus Livery and the ANA & NCA go on the spot where my Thai & MY were at first, the NCA B747-8F's nose will be on opposite of the Korean Air B747-8B5I the 8i & 8F nose to nose the QF B747-438ER will go under my China Airlines B747-409 Jimmy Love & Hug Livery under that the other 6 Aussies as well

Tomorrow they should arrive, if not by Monday the upcoming week
I will post the triple multi part review of these three in this thread, as these form the final parts of my 32 part Boeing 747 collection for now, I know it has three PVC models in it but for now I am just going to stick with them as I have other projects in mind as well, like upgrading all my AMD Opteron servers & Workstations and that isn't going to be cheap either.

Hereby I would love to thank everyone that helped me out getting some of my models people like the following:

AussieJets
DC-10 Tony
cownvic
StillAir
snowghost
Baerke
KLM4me
Rockybudgeboa
T7 4ever
TOGAselected
Ukeep
Ukrainian Falcons
vertigo11

+ All the members & friends at the Boeing 747 Community & AMCC!

And these 6 shops that really have helped me find my gems:

Arcunia
Aviation Mega Store
Dai Kong Hobby
Diecast Trader
Buy Gone World Models
Moons Models

And many many others if I haven't added ya, many people of the this wonderful community plus that of the Aircraft Model Collecting Community aka AMCC & Boeing 747 Community at Facebook as well, love you guys & gals <3

Help came from all places mainly helping me find these awesome models and communicating in my topics threads and other things.

I won't be leaving the DA.C Community to, just will be active with other things, I will pop in for a chat or two and see what all of you been gathering for your collections and yes I will keep all the boxes I have that is a lesson I have learned for you guys too hah, a worthy one that being

Hereby I will make this final review extra detailed and when the models arrive I'll start making tons of photo's of course!
For these additions this was a 5 year trip of pure excitement and a major challenge finding all the B747's of my past life ones friends worked on built test flew maintainced or were first,. business class & Economy class passengers or just designers alike.

When listening to Armin van Buuren's a State of Trance Episode 321, this remix from The Thrillseekers fitted this topic all to well, the B747 is always by your side (my side that being)

The Thrillseekers – By Your Side (Mind One Remix) (2007)

Love this song, brings many memories

So till later then <3

Yeah many thanks and yeah I have a golden spot for PH-MCF , not to worry
but nothing else will be added unless I plan to replace the PVC TNT & Lufthansa B747's, the PH-MCF will surely get a place, always had that in mind

Dunno when I can expect PH-MCF to ht the market, any idea's on that yet?

Well two of the three arrived today the ones I bought from Arcunia.com of course hah X and here they are:

Lets have some fun!

So up with my 30th B747:

B747 No 30:

Boeing 747-481D
All Nippon Airways "Pokemon Pocket Monsters Livery (Jan 1999 - Feb 2006)"
JA8964
Scale 1:200
J-Fox Models

Here the box; Pokemon galore!

J-Fox also uses the softer packing foam which is great to see!

All looking good here as the box contents go:

And here some pics of the model it's self, this is probably one of the coolest planes I have seen in a long time, it's really different hah and packed with Pokemon cuteness xD

Just love the Pokemon artworks on this one, the light blue hue's really make this one blend in with the rest of my collection <3

Some markings are quite different on the B747-400D over other B747-400 variants, like those rectangular yellow markings on the wings, no winglets being present, no front belly antennait's indeed a newer type of B747-400 than other ones I have seen.

Here from the other side:

Here a close up of the rear placed Pokemon artworks on the left side:

And from the right side:

Here the cute tail art of Pikachu hanging on to some balloons xD

Rear view of this Japanese Queen:

Top view, note the same red sun markings as in JApan's military aircraft

Stand shots:

Final Display for the moment, the NCA B747-8KZF/SCD will be placed under this ANA B747-481D

And on with the next one the 31st Boeing 747 for my collection, which is also my first Boeing 747-400ER as well, but also the only one I have for that part.

B747 No 31:

Boeing 747-438ER
QANTAS Australia "Rio 2016 Summer Olympic Livery 2016"
VH-OEJ "Wunala"
Scale 1:200
JC Wings

Here the box shots, Australia's Olympic Team Carrier for Rio Summer Olympics 2016

Like all JC Wings models always well packed:

Here the model it's self, an other beauty that be truth!

This aircraft VH-OEJ "Wunala" was also Wunala Dreaming 02, hence the blue aboriginal art kangagroo just behind the cockpit

Here a perfect facial shot, these are hard to get right, gladly this one turned out great!

This photo clearly shows the Rio 2016 artwork is mirrored:

love the little shirt the Boxing Kangaroo is wearing has an Emu on it, just fabulous xD

Also note the Gold Medal the Kangaroo is wearing and also hanging on to the Aussie flag, a brilliant idea for an Australian Olympic livery

Here a nice rear view of this QF B747-438ER

As the replacements go thata re the following three B747's:

The final three will form the final parts in my collection as these go:

01.) QANTAS/Martinair B747-21AC PH-MCF will replace the TNT B747-4HAF/ER/SCD, and be displayed under the QANTAS B747-438ER VH-OEF.

note in the background the QANTAS Ochre Livery and later QANTAS Spirit of Australia liveries side by side.

Ochre Livery:

Spirit of Australia Livery:

Hence that being I have those two this QANTAS/Martinair needs to be a part of my collection as I seen it in 1988 & 1989 several times and always wondered what livery it was, many years later I found out it was a Martinair B747-21AC that was hired out to QANTAS back in the day, yet it's livery made it like an original QANTAS livery that sat between ochre livery & Spirit of Australia Livery hence my reason, it's something rare and super exclusive.
with 19 others from the DA.C forums we signed a petition for Inflight 200 to make us a model of this exact aircraft with the QANTAS//Martinair livery and we succeeded, so this spot has already been reserved, hence it being rare and super exclusive for this reason.
Here the photo my dad made back in 1988 of this exact aircraft:

02.) Thai Airways International B747-2D7B TS-TGA will replace the Lufthansa B747-830i D-ABYL Hessen, and will be placed under the Thai Airways International B747-4D7 HS-TGG.

03.) QANTAS B747-438 VH-OJB Wunala Dreaming 01 will be replaced with the JC Wings diecast metal release of it, that are my main plans as of now.

Now I wait for upcoming Monday, May 27, 2019 to review the Nippon Cargo Airways B747-8KZF/SCD the final part of this thread, many thanks for reading, enjoy the photo's so far

Very nice 747 collection Willem, something to be proud of. You really thought about displaying them well. As Steve mentioned the Qantas/Martinair 747 must be part of your collection in the future. I will make sure that I reserve one aswell for my collection!

My dad & I met up with John Droog and his wife from Arcunia at their home when I bought SAA's B747-312 ZS-SAJ Ndizani, great times and very cool people, love what they have been doing, 7 of my B747's come from their shop and without them things would of gotten a lot more expensive, their prices are very well placed so they will always have a place in my mind if I ever plan on adding more..
Ahhh I gotta stop thinking too much on that right now, aaa cries

But who knows one day I shall return with more B747's. hmm

Hey thanks Baerke and yeah it was one hell of a ride I have to admit, finding them all hoping they are not going to get unavailable and all discontinued & limited releases were always a pain to find, but in the end nothing is really impossible, as collectors you are willing to seek what you heart and mind desires til you really find it even if the price may be a bit over the top, it's the item it's self that really makes it worth haha aaah don't we all know this

As for PH-MCF yeah get one I know I am , no matter it's price it will be added for the memory I have of it from Perth International Airport back in 1988.

Many thanks Steve, even though this armada of B747's will come to it's completion I will always try to find ways to add more but maybe for some other time, sadly I need to maintain my Supermicro powered AMD Opteron servers & workstations as well and server hardware doesn't go cheap either.

But not all is lost yet, tomorrow the NCA B747-8KZF/SCD will arrive so plenty pics of that will be posted in this thread for sure
And after that the remains:

QF B747-438 VH-OJB from JC Wings
THAI B747-2D7B HS-TGA from Inflight 200
QF/MA B747-21AC PH-MCF from Inflight 200

Will be worth doing as they are the final details to the collection it's self.

Nice Wuanala, I have the JC version, but have the Inflight version of the Nalanji. Should of waited for the JC version of the Nalanji as the colors are more accurate!

I remember seeing these at LAX back in the day!

Flying works of art! Nice pics and congratulations on the additions!

Yesterday my 32nd B747 finally arrived!, so here she is then:

Boeing 747-8KZF/SCD
Nippon Cargo Airways "NCA 30th Anniversary 2015"
JA14KZ

Scale 1:200
Gemini Jets 200 / JC Wings

This is the B747-8F that my friend and member of this group Flies he goes as Captain Lou Boyer , Always wanted Snake man's jet and this is it for sure, Gemini Jets 200 did their best to bring this aircraft to the finest details!

It's been quite the ride I have to admit a good 5 years of collecting Boeing 747 diecast models, left alone 3 are still PVC they will be replaced within the upcoming 3 a 5 months all depending on what I find first what it may cost etc.

Anyways enjoy the photo's this was an awesome piece to unpack and add to my main display with all the other 31 Boeing 747 models. all are scale 1:200.
Replacements of the 3 PVC models are next so stay tuned for that as well!

Here the box of this NCA B747-8KZF/SCD, it's my first model from Gemini Jets 200 as well:

Quite the different packing style as JC Wings, Inflight 200 and all the others have used, as outer sleeve and inner box goes:

Similar soft foam JC Wings & J-Fox Models uses

Box contents same layout as all the others as well:

And here the model:

Quite the beauty to be honest!

This is my current wallpaper at the moment, just love this view:

Being a freighter, it looks like a modernized B747-100 in many ways due to the three windows on each side and the short upper deck:

It has this 30th Anniversary of Inaugural Flight Since 1985 logo on it, this livery is from 2015 when it comes to this 30th Anniversary livery:

Here the General Electric NX2B engines with the GEnx logo's printed on them:

Note the crystallized landing lights in the wing and nose gear:

It's hard to make this shots, the facial view of the beast:

Here one of my drone shots, well I call em that in the way the angle of the cam is posed:

Here a lovely top shot of it's head:

And off to the other side:

Here the other pics I made:

Note the cool NCA logo on the belly & the small red doors on the underside of the inner right wing which houses the Ram Air Turbine:

Here the stand shots:

this is definitely my favorite B747-8F as well, just love this livery, very simple and clean looking:

Gemini Jets 200 did a great job when it comes down to the finest of details, just like JC Wings & BBOX are known for doing:

But I do notice that Gemini Jets 200 doesn't apply name plates to their stands like all the other brands do:

That is kind of a shame in my opinion, that is if you plan on displaying it on the stand for that part.

Here the Final display:

Both B747-8i & B747-8F nose to nose:

32 Boeing 747's at 1:200 in total

And there ya have it, well for now. the replacements are next with the QF B747-438 VH-OJB Wunala Dreaming 01 from JC Wins as first one to replace, from Herpa Wings PVC to JC Wings Diecast.
Then I replace my LH B747-830i from Herpa Wings PVC to a Thai Airways International B747-2D7B the HS-TGA from inflight 200 and after that the Martinair/Qantas B747-21AC from Inflight 200 to replace my TNT B747-4HAF/ER/SCD from Skymarks to complete this collection for once and for all

The Replacements will all get their own separate thread, as this was a 3 in 1 purchase.

Nah I have very little living space and I have three Workstations / Servers to maintain as well, just have other things on my mind, 32 is plenty this is all the space I have that is dust free as well.

65 square meters of living spce is all I got and aircraft isn't the only thing I collected, I could post everything I have in this thread to gve you an idea on why.

Here my three Supermicro powered AMD Opteron servers & Workstations

I have 22 orchids to take care of, with my Stegosaurid & Draconid & Crystal collection in front of it:

I have my Vintage Dino-Riders collection:

My Star Wars Rebel Alliance & Resistance starfigthers collection:

So in the end I don't like overdoing things I hate it to be very honest, I prefer a bit of everything my mind desires so far I am happy on what I have and I do have limits like most of you seem not to have, also by being 100% disabled I am again limited to many things, I don't want more as I don't want to lose over view either, it is what it is and nothing will change that, I have autism and change isn't my strongest part.

So I better hope people get that and respect that from my ends.
There are other interests to me I find important and worth bothering than just models.

All in all I am happy on what I have collected over the years, and maybe I have a special skill that I can know when it's time to stop and do something else, it's how I have always been I have a certain goal I go for it and that's the end of it.

I like the GJ NCA model you got there Goldie and a great catch. Gemini did a great job on picking this subject for release and presented a very nice model. Also nice is the GEnx printed on the engines (each one of these engines on the aircraft is USD20 million dollars each). The 30th anniversary logo that NCA adopted on this model is very nice as well. I expect this is the first 747-8F that Boeing delivered? I believe? Boeing had three experimental 747-8F house livery painted. N747EX I expect they kept. This model you have originally wore Boeing house colours prior to repaint but the registration of it is what I don't know of it prior to delivery to NCA - Boeing's launch customer. The NCA freighter would have looked like this in it's trials

Looking forward to your future replacements. Thank you very much for posting

Hey, is that Firefox hanging from your ceiling?
That dear friend is the 1986 G.I Joe Cobra Night Raven, the original, the one behind it is the 1991 G.I Joe Sky Raven, the remake for the allies
As you can tell I have a ton of legacy and retro toys from G.I Joe, Star Wars & Dino-Riders, the 1980's & 1990's had some fantastic things you don't really see anymore these days, especially when it comes down to product quality and such other aspects.

That is an ex-KLM Douglas DC10-36 that I modified to a Douglas KC-10A Extender, just lacking the refueling boom, just never could find one at scale 1:72, so I kind of made it in to a KC-10F Freighter I guess hah xD
It
s from Skyland Models UK btw.

Hey no worries man! Yet I am more orientated with Server & Workstation hardware over thee traditional gaming & Common computing hardware, due to my autism I am extremely selective on what I know and what I don't know so I'll have to see and all, it's very complicated for me to explain people a simple solution, so I may not be of much help if I can't see what I am dealing with, it's why I never attended to such things by solving issues for others, we got forums for that and guides and such but I'll have to see what it's on about.

And how I gained everything is selling off old renovated gaming PC's from 1999, 2000, 20001, 2004 & 2006, all have been sold for very high amounts and that money was mainly sued to upgrade my three Supermicro powered AMD Opteron workstations/servers and my current Boeing 747 collection.

The Star Wars, Dino-Riders & G.I Joe's were all a thing of my childhood days and when I was a teenager had random jobs etc was all before I got chronically ill, so that are things I can never ever let go of, even I dearly miss the good old days, much has changed sadly for that part, as Computers go, as toys go even planes , is with everything, it's all digital these days GSM is still a 2002 NOKIA 6310i, it has 11 days battery life if used a lot and 16 days on idle, not one smart phone comes close to even 3 days on max use.

if I want a camera I use my 2003 Sony CyberShot DSC-V3 + mini tripod which has a Carl Zeis Lens,
Here that classic GSM, a real phone imo without the unwanted unreliable garbage, it just works I can call with ti I can SMS with it,t hat is all you really need:

So as that goes I am one off very few that lives without a smartphone, I never cared for the technology, way too under powered and too addictive which will kill off many other and better hobbies & interests, plus the loss of proper communication with family friends and others alike.

As my workstations go here the specs, since i am kind of showing my other hobbies as well, it kind of fits this thread anyway xD

Oh Skymarks did, they were pretty cool with some things, just wish they had more details for the engines like Hogan Wings & Herpa Wings did, the body looks decent but the rest is rather plain though.
