This C-5 is not right, since when does the C-5 Galaxy consists of only a two-wheel front bogie..

Just fed up spending a lot of time which I don't have, setting up flashlights, studio, taking many photos and editing. Why bother?

I wouldn’t have minded either. I used to have an old unbuilt Otaki kit of the Galaxy. I think it was 1/144 scale, got a good price for it I seem to remember.

Here we go attempt number two
The faults on this model are well documented so don't need repeating!
I think it looks ok and goes well with my PCM C141 Starlifter and An225.
and at a third of the cost of the Herpa? when ARD Bundys have just listed a NOS PCM white top C5A at £169

Just need to find that PCM An124 to replace my Lupa version.

Thank you for posting pics.... despite nose gear issue still a fine model. When the Herpa version came out I sold my PCM version to fellow DACer Geeforce, he posted pics on this thread and that one has the dual nose gear. Perhaps this one was an early sample that made it out before the error was discovered?

I would take a hard pass on the PCM AN 124... As bad as we need one on gears in 1/200 scale it is beyond BRUTAL...

Might consider retofit gears on the Lupa as shapewise not too bad.

Thanks for the pics! Yup, it looks great. THIS is what the Herpa should have cost. If PCM could do it, then why not Herpa? Smh

Hi Crownvic, send it to Sergei. He added landing gears (and antennas) to my Lupa Volga-Dnper An-124. I just sent him another Lupa An-124 in Polet colors for landing gears to be added. The pictures are his. But I have the model now. The stand hole is covered with a tape in the picture is removable if you prefer to display it on the stand the model came with.

Wow! I always regretted not buying one of these. Now that I have seen enough photos of it, I’m really glad I didn’t get one. The Herpa version is much more accurate especially looking at the aircraft forward of the wing. The PCM version is way off. It looks like a cross between a C-5 and an An-124.

Wow, great comment "BOB". Apparently you didn't read anything before the photos.

Question: What do you call a guy with no arms and no legs floating in the water?
