Default ANA Precision 1/200 A380 Flying Honu Models

Good evening,

Please find enclosed photos of ANA Official Precision Models' 1/200 A380-841 JA381A and JA383A Flying Honu aircraft that I purchased from ANA's FESTA store. JA382A is on its way as it was released after my trip.

I nearly bit the bullet on the JCW's variant, but glad I waited for these instead as they have the most accurate livery.

Enjoy the photos!

Kind regards.

Better representation of actual aircraft, but will we see an updated diecast?

Nice! ANA does the best at special recognition schemes....lots of money spent on these flying billboards but sure do remember them! Are these models plastic or diecast?

They were JPY14100 when I first got to Tokyo in early April, and went up to around JPY15100 2 weeks later. Hobby Shops in Akihabara were also selling them at slightly reduced pricing compared to ANA's own FESTA store. Similar case with my /1200 diecast MRJ, saved around $80 purchasing it from the hobby shop even though it was an ANA commissioned model.

Affirm. It's the Hogan mould which ANA uses a lot. All the Official Star Wars, Pokemon and special livery 1/200 models Ive purchased from ANA are Hogan, 1/100's and larger are PacMin, whereas JAL Official models uses a mix of Hogan and Skymarks.

I'm sure similar ones to these will appear on ebay soon... at 3 x retail price just like all the Star Wars ones did..

Something I really dont understand: Japan being among those who have legalized the killing of these animals, only to have them painted later in their aircraft as an awereness to the world ?!....like whales, etc....somethings wrong here, somehow...

I'm assuming they don't ask Gemini, JC Wings etc to do models for them to sell or give to employees as gifts... and should JCW want to do an ANA livery, they'll just be paying the license fee or asking for permission.

Nice models by the way
