Still waiting too.. note that it can take up to 10-12 months for jc to release, the KLM 737-400 was announced in may 18 and still not available. .

Nightmare.... I find some of there models are bang on time like the cargolux 748 and the recent Eva air cargo was only 2 months late. It’s gonna be a good seller just frustrating sometimes. Maybe they go of pre order sales in how to make them

That could very well be the case. Some models are released fast, others take a century. ..

Still no word on the DHL model, hopefully we will get it just in time for Christmas 2019!

I have an JC-Wings E-Jet for pre-order now for "only" five month. Guess I'm only half through the waiting time.
The real plane will propably fly to mojave before JC releases the model.

Kind of an on-topic question here:

Has there ever been a diecast model of a DHL aircraft in the original livery?

Yeah, I just got my JCW EVA A380 today, and this was preordered back in June of 2018.

Thanks for the info. What a complete shame. Look how simple it would be to make a run of 'em. Such an easy livery too. C'mon, InFlight/Gemini/JCW/Jet-X/AV200/BBOX/and all you other manufacturers. What's the hold up? It's mostly white. Shouldn't be too hard for you.

I'm still waiting for this guy as well. Hopefully it gets delivered soon. No matter how much I'd like to not have pre-ordered it, it seems like all the DHL stuff goes for crazy prices on eBay, and I'd rather not have to buy it for at least double the original price from some random seller...

OH MY GOSH FINALLY!!! It's nice to see they also got the little bulge for the nose gear as well, I don't know why but I was just paranoid that JC would be cheap, and wouldn't have it on there...

Just out of curiosity has anyone in the US received your model yet?
I've had a pre-order through ezToys since last September, and it still says this is a pre-order item, even though other US-based vendors seem to have it in stock. So I guess I'll have to send ez a message to see if they've gotten their stock in yet or not...

Hold the model yesterday at ACB in my hands...
Beautiful model but...
You have to display it WITH gears!
Why???
Well that bump for the front landing gear is part of the magnetic gear.
And therefore WITHOUT gear = no bump 😕

Ok that's weird.. Luckily I allways display with gear down but I can imagine this is not to like when you display gear up. No extra hump in the box for gear up display?

Mine arrived today. Unfortunately I needed to drill the hole for the nose gear magnet a lot deeper and glue the magnet back in since there was a large gap between the nose gear bump and the fuselage before. Other than that a beautiful model.

I started appreciating the A330 more of late and decided to get the DHL for my cargo fleet.

The only other A330 I have is a Lufthansa -300. I especially like the freighter version as it's got an interesting story as to the front landing gear.

I took a nose to nose comparison so you can see that JCW got the nose gear correct, keeping the plane level on the gear.

Lovely comparison! Hope JC will release more A330F models. Only downside is that they didn't include an inflight bulge for displaying the model.
