I saw this thread thinking; 'okay another DC-8 Freighter this time around' but then i released that we're talking about the Super 70 here folks.. we all know the DC-8 Super 70 had them sexy CFM engines.. all i will say is we could have so many possibilities here, so many different airlines with these type of engines..

hint: DC-8 Freighter with striking yellow colors..

Awesome model. Congratulations.

Reminds me a bit of an A340-600 (if one don't think one is narrow body and one wide).

If my criteria were not as 'stricts as it needs to be', I would have been mighty tempted to track one of these down.

Enjoy.

Delta had the stretched DC-8-61/71 with a shorter wingspan compared to the -63/73 .

Knowing Inflight, they will release a Delta on the 73 frame and call it a 71, similar to their 707s!

Indeed, back in the day the -62/-63 wing with redesigned engine pylons and nacelles was a very beautiful sight.

Was fortunate to fly on KLM's brand new -63s back in the 60s.

I hope not as I'd like to see a United -71 with the correct wing.
