Inflight 200 Boeing 737-800 Transavia PH-HZE

Dear all,

I am very pleased with the recent addition to the Transavia fleet; the Inflight 200 model IFLHS004, 'exclusive aviation megastore release'.

It depicts the current livery of Transavia Airlines C.V. as it is in use in both Transavia France and the Netherlands. The level of detail of this model is particularly good. The previous Inflight release of a HV 737-800 was PH-HSW with Landor's "cigar band" livery (although commonly revered to something else...) On that one the main wheels were to small, the nose gear not long enough and the engines made it look like a toy. That is all settled now in this edition! The only small thing that is missing are the red cut out markers over the fuselage. Well, let them be forgiven for this ;-)

https://modelbrouwers.nl/media/cache...be9ec96b0a.jpgYou also have the choice either to extend or retract the landing gear. For both configurations nice moulded inserts with magnetos are included.

The engines are mounted deep into the cowling (correct) and you can see through the bypass, as in the real thing. The only small thing here are the landing lights; the model depicts the new LED lights used by Boeing on the NG series from 2016. But in fact the PH-HZE is one of the oldest 737NG's around. Build in 1999 it still have the old bulb type landing lights. It was pure by coincidence that 'ZE' was due for a new paint coat when the new livery was introduced. So they took the oldest bird in the fleet!

cheers, VJ

Very nice.

It is always great to have a model of the aircraft we fly or we have flown.

Great looking model and pictures! Love the details! Is it only available to purchase from Aviation Megastore?

I do think so. The model number is IFLHS004, which I translate as IF=Inflight and LHS=Luchtvaart Hobby Shop, the Dutch name for the Aviation Megastore near Schiphol. They state on their site that they do international shipping with UPS worldwide.

cheers, VJ

Oh ok. I tried to see the shipping costs and they are way too expensive. I heard there are also import fees to pay as well. Itís too bad, I would have liked a copy of this model. It looks really nice!
