Default Hows the quality of JC Wings? Looking to add

Im interested in a few models from JC Wings...hows the quality and detail? Are the landing gears precise and mould? Also, are the 1:200's metal? I see they have antennas on them, like the InFlights too.....Please let me know your thoughts and what I should be on the look out for. Thanks.

Excellent models. I own a few and have no problem whatsoever. And yes, they are diecast.

JC Wings like Gemini 200 & BBOX are great.

Their wing mounting methods is what I love most of them, especially when it comes to their Boeing 747's.
No outdated cradle method that Inflight 200, ARD or J-Fox uses but just how Boeing mounts them, from the sides

Actually, Boeing makes the wings and wing box first, like Inflight, then lowers the completed center section of the fuselage onto the wing box, then joins the nose and tail sections onto the completed wing box/fuselage assembly.

The main difference is that Boeing covers any gaps between the wing section and fuselage with fairings. ANY gap between wing and fuselage is unprotypical, but I do think JCW/GJ does a better job hiding this joint.

Over the past year or two, JC has been producing the best stuff in terms of quality if you ask me.

JC are really good! JC have listened to customer feedback (I am speaking from experience) and as a result they probably are one of the best nowadays (the other one being AeroClassics). Most of their moulds are good and they apply correct and accurate painting. Gemini use same moulds but mistakes in livery are frequent. Inflight have some good moulds and some that are glaringly wrong, errors in the painting scheme are regular. I suggest you watch the comments on DA.C before you buy.

The one Inflight200 mould that I do concede is wrong is the 727. Tail should be much bigger like Gemini.

I have several JC Wings models. The quality of their products is uniformly very high.

The JC Wings 737-300 is especially good and the stands they supply with their models are excellent.

My only complaint is that I wish they'd do more releases featuring U.S. carriers!
