Default Delta Connection CRJ200

I got the new Delta CRJ200. The wings point downward so I don't know if that's just my copy or not but I'll fix it later. I included some comparison pics of NG CRJ. This is the 20th Delta model in their current scheme so I'm pleased.

Also, Delta dispatchers today bought 1,600 wings and fries for Atlanta Center controllers today so that was a really nice thing for them to do and I appreciated the free food to any dispatcher on here that contributed.

I have a thing for CRJ models, but couldn't care less for them in real life as I see them all the time at CVG. Looks good. Wish the cockpit metal window holders were a tad darker but it looks good! Might have to pick this up.

I think I got the same issue as you. The wings do look a bit pointed downward. But if you ever had a chance to ride in one of these, they aren’t the most comfortable in the fleet. You can tell a noticeable difference in the cabin between a 200 and 700/900.

I prefer the E145 single seat side when it comes to RJs.

How do you plan on fixing the bent wings? I got this same model and am quite disappointed about it. I don't want to risk breaking it trying to bend them back though.

Warm them up by holding them or I guess you could use a blow dryer and start by gently applying pressure. Slow slow slow

I did not realize there is more than one CRJ 200 mold. After seeing the photos, I much prefer the HYJL Wings mold. To bad Gemini doesn’t use it.

+1
The nose end on HYJL is spot on, makes up for the lack of detail that GJ has. Credit is due to GJ for the better engine HOT section, APU antenna, and tail fin.

This is a "flown on" for me so I had to get it as well. I do go out of my way to avoid -200's though, the 700/900 is fine though, like you say.

Yep - me too. Someone on airliners.net tried to argue with me about that, saying the CRJ-200 was better because a six-foot person could stand up easier in it. That makes no sense to me since that's about .04% of the time you spend in it.

Is it me or does the chord of the wing also slope downwards (towards the aft end) too much on the GJ? The angle on the NG/HYJL version looks better to me there as well.

Pretty common wing situation. Slowly took the bend out...
