I really like that polished AA 737, but will try to wait for the AA/AirCal retro model. And I do like that PSA MD!

Finally something for us 'older kids' and not just airplane models for them millennials..

So glad to see the old school PSA MD-80!

I always thought the 172s for Sportys had proper tail numbers, but according to the FAA Site N1215A belongs to a Luscombe 8A.

I assume that the BA A350-1000 registration is a presumed ‘XWB’ fantasy registration, rather than a confirmed registration from BA?
I do want a BA A350, but only if it has an operational reg.

Again, Gemini wants to release a plane not scheduled to be delivered (1:1 scale to the airline) for months...July for the BA A350.

That AA 737-800 will be hot. AA heritage on a 737 is a must. Love seeing the CRJ-200 as well. Hopefully next will be the old colors.
The PSA is just amazing to go with the 727-200.
Still waiting for the American Eagle Embraer 120 Brasilia.

I think it's one of the worst kept secrets that they're going to be G-XWB, but you're right they should've waited to confirm. What's the GJ A359-1000 mould like accuracy wise, any ideas?

acording to planespotters.net, G-XWBA is "on order", although without airframe MSN.

Methinks there are 2 minor issues of note that need to be addressed on this 359-1000 mold.
1) Sharklets need to be the newer taller version
2) Engine nacelles are missing strakes on BOTH sides.

Other than that, a top-mold!

There are strakes on both sides of the engines. The dark blue makes it difficult to see them clearly but they are definitely there.

Nice! Good then, looks like one issue has been corrected. Indeed quite hard to see but they are there.

As a huge G650 fan, I must say that is NOT a well thought out paint job... Seems lazy on GJ that the fuselage, wings, stabs, inlet cowlings are all the same color. The flat color of the passenger windows also don't portray a very realistic representation of the real thing.

Yes, I know that. However, the FAA's site is updated every working day at midnight and shows no record of it being assigned to a Cessna 172. It's been assigned to a Luscombe 8A, a Cessna 208, and a Piper Cub. Furthermore, Sportys website does not list a blue Cessna 172, but does list a Cessna 182 with tail number N6167L. Might look the same, but they're still different! I don't know if Sportys gave Gemini that random tail number or Gemini picked it out of the air but either way, it's a fantasy model with Sportys name on it.

Could be because BA ordered a bunch to give away at an inaugural flight or something.

My Gemini 727 is “weathered” but I really like it. I’ll choose weathered over splotchy, that’s for sure. I would get another if there were to be a new version.

For the AA 727, anyone know of a slight variation with the red/white/blue stripe and polished livery?? Really hope a polished tail Super 80 is in the works too..

BA internal comms have released several images of a 350 wearing the reg G-XWBA and as above the registration has been allocated. Looking forward to get this one, and also future release BOAC 747-400 😁

I only made the one comment, due to some early releases being incorrect; whether it be actual scheme or registration on the aircraft being represented.
I was unaware of it being an order direct from BA. But, things can always change...

IIRC, the Gemini United 787-10 had a fantasy reg? So yeah, one never knows.

I know the Chinese workers in the factories don't get paid much, but they need to stop eating the glue...yet another kit arrived today. PSA MD is a nice model once finally done!

That's why I bought it, to go along with my PSA-727-200 50th anniversary. I missed the G200 727 as I did not realize it had come out around the time of release. By the time I found out, it was sold out. Will look great sitting next to it! Enjoy when she arrives!
