I wish it were JC Wings or Gemini Jets instead...that horrendous wing box gap on the Inflight 744 still drives me nuts.

IMO InFlight200 has the best 747 mould. My 2 cents.

I am ok with the IF 747's other than the -400 series. I not a fan of the wing gap, but can live with it, but, just do not like the wing droop on the -400 series models.

I like the finish quality on the Inflight200 747s.

The wing droop near the ends look realistic!

I know, if the model is displayed on the ground, it does look ok, but on a stand it looks a little odd to me. I do have Global Supertanker 744 as no one else makes it, but will try to just get the other IF 747 series and hope G2 or JC will make what I want.

Agreed. I'm all in for this one.

To be honest, I don't see much difference between IF and JCW 747s. I like the wing sweep on the Inflight model's wings better, as well as the nose wheel length which has the model sit realistically level. The cockpit window size is better too.

I also like the JCW/GJ 747s also, particularly the wing /fuselage joint, but I wish they would correct the length of the nose gear so the model doesn't sit arse low when on the 'ground'. And the cockpit window size needs to be fixed on almost all of the models that they produce.

Inflight's 747 mold is terrible and outdated. Anyone that sez otherwise is not familiar with the real plane.
The wrong nose shape, no jewels on landing lights lights, terrible and inaccurate wing box construction, less detailed and mis-shaped engines and generally bad and misaligned printing everywhere. Notwithstanding the inability to remove gears...I am sure I left off other issues. When given the chance, JCW / G200 all the way (especially the amazing flaps down and 748s)
I cringe every time I look at my AZ IF200 742s, because I know how much better it could be on a JCW / G200 mold.

I couldn't agree more. What strikes me as odd, is that IF200 seems to be willing to modify some of their other moulds, but not the 747.

They also won't upgrade their 721 &722 moulds all the while pumping out releases on em, and GJ can't be bothered with classics on their superior 727 mould!

I like both, and maybe because IF's been around longer and I am more used to it but I do like IF's 747 flight deck brow better than JC's. JC's initial release was too slick, kind of a pity, and glad they fixed it so it looks better.

Didn't GJ lose access to that great 727 mould? For some reason I thought their recent releases had issues...but I haven't been in the 727 market in a long time so I may be mistaken. I also thought the consensus was that Jet-X had the best 727 mould.

You may be right. JCW usually include finger prints in the paint and dust under the paint at no extra charge!! What a deal. And I suppose cockpit windows really should be almost the same size as the passenger's windows! You may have a point. Or not.
