Default GJ200 USair DC9 arrived. Nice little model. Pics

I don’t know why, but I have always had a love for this color scheme. I think it kind of brings me back to my childhood in the 80s. When Gemini announced it I knew I had to get it even though it wouldn’t normally fit my collection criteria.

Nice little model!!

I too loved this paint scheme. It was one of the best cheatline liveries out there. Was a huge improvement over the Allegheny speedwedge livery. Brings back a lot of memories for me, too, growing up in upstate New York.

Thanks for sharing the pics. You sure got yours early- I’m waiting for mine to arrive at my online retailer, pre-ordered as soon as I saw it.

Very nice little 9, typical 70's scheme

Looks great! Mine's ready to be picked up at AvWorld. Loved this scheme; hopefully they'll do more of the USAir fleet...

Very nice add. Need to get my USAir 727 on display, it's boxed up somewhere

I got mine this past weekend as well from AV World. It brings back fond memories when I used to fly in these birds as a kid between Baltimore and Toronto. I remember walking in and seeing all these business men smoking cigarettes in their suits. A smoky haze hung in the air until we got underway. The thought of that today is just disgusting. It's a great livery too.
