Default Question about the Gemini/JC wings A310 mould

Basically, is the Gemini 200 mould the same as the JC wings one?
I have the Delta Airlines A310 from Gemini 200 from a couple of years ago (fantastic model by the way, I highly recommend it.)
I recently bought the JC wings 1:200 Air France A310, and one of the major differences that I've noticed is that the tail and horizontal stabilisers on the JC example are plastic (quite flimsy plastic at that.) On the Gemini 200 model it is metal, just like the wings. Is this the direction that both JC and Gemini are taking for this mould, or are they different moulds? If it;s the former, it would be disappointing.

As an aside, I have a couple of Inflight 200 A310's, and the tail and horizontal stabiliser on their models are metal.

Thanks for your insights.

This is my first time learning that JC uses plastic vertical and horizontal stabilizers on their (now) usually all metal models.

That is also true for me, so I couldn't resist and checked on my two PIA's AP-BEG and AP-BDZ that I received a few days ago. Indeed, both tail fin and horizontal stabilizers are plastic. I would never have noticed this if it had not been mentioned here.

I suspect they adopted that solution to prevent the models from sitting on their tails. The other option would be to add weight to the nose but a dainty nose gear might not sustain that over time.

I think this is what Aeroclassics had to do on their 1:400 377 Stratocruiser so it would not be a tail sitter.

I did consider that, however my Delta model has no problem with tail tipping.

not only 1/200, 1/400 JCW 787 has the same plastic tail on their vertical and horizontal stabiliser
