Ordered this one. Excited to get it in! I second the US airways. I'm hoping for a northwest bowling shoe.

+1 on the US airways express. In the final white livery not the blue one please! It is one of the last pieces I am missing for my US airways fleet aside from an a319 in the final colors.

Just curious. For those who have flown on one, how comfortable, or cramped are they?

Quite cramped, IMO. I've flown on a lot of CRJ2s. Kind of waiting for them to age out and go away...

50 seats crammed into a stretched business jet tube, 2x2. Aisle seats are fine, but I'm broad shouldered and the window seats are misery because the floor sits fairly high, and the tube of the fuselage cuts right in at the shoulder level.

It's better on the CRJ7s and 9s, the wing box is bulged down below the fuselage, pushing the carry-thru below and allowing the floor and seats to be lower.

Oh and you don't want seats in row 12, and you really really don't want row 13 - the lav sits on the right side of 13. Doesn't smell so great back there.

I’ll take both USAirways Express liveries.

Also where can I preorder one of these here in North America? Seems the retailers have been persuaded to withdraw this excellent brand.

I can't find it on any of the US retailers sites anymore but they did have them all up for preorder. It might be worth contacting whoever you have done business with in the past to see if they anticipate getting them anymore and if so if they will have excess beyond their preorders. If they have extras I would guess they would get them to you as an under the table kind of deal.

You could also try Raymond at Dai Kong. I don't know if he carries NG or not.

All of the US sites, Waffle, EZ Toys all removed NG models form their sites last week in response to Gemini's letter. :-( I still see them on some non-US sites.

Awful - only thing that is worse is the EMB-135/145's - you don't want to be in any of these planes for more than and hour or so.

The CR7's and CR9's are way better.

What did Gemini tell the retailers?

Wow. Yeah they look like they'd be that way. I think the smallest I want to fly on these days is a B737 or Airbus A320. But in some cases you have only a regional jet as a choice.

Yes, mine came yesterday from a retailer that will remain nameless. This is the 2nd NG CRJ I have and the United version is as nice as the Lufthansa I picked up last month.
