Default Gemini200 G2PAA294 Boeing 727-200, Pan Am

Gemini200 G2PAA294
Boeing 727-200
Pan American World Airways, N4734

One of my favorite moulds and one of my favorite classic airliners. To me it doesn't get more classic than the Pan Am billboard livery. I really wanted this livery done and couldn't wait to pre order when Gemini announced it. Good decision G200

Fantastic model there EF and yeah I too love Billboard livery, was very happy when I received my PA B747P-21 from IF200 a few days ago, as the B727-200 series go I am always hoping that JC wings or Gemini 200 do an Ansett Australia Limited B727-277 the VH-ANA in the classic Stars & Stripes Livery.

Many thanks for showing us your PA B727-221

Billboard livery was actually Pan Am's new gen livery as it followed their classic livery that had the cheatline I believe.
Pan American World Airways decided to go Full Billboard for all their aircraft in 1984.

Here a very interesting article about the various experimental livery changes PA took part of before going for Bilboard livery:

It's an interesting and good read

I did enjoy reading that, you're quite right in saying it's interesting finding out the history behind a livery. Would love to have seen the billboard on a 747-400.
