Default A decent diecast A310.

Will we ever see one?

I like the Hobbymaster birds but they are very overpriced and not especially lovely models, a bit awkward and a little off in the proportions.

As a 1:200 military/Govt collector there are so many i'd love to see made.

Both the white liveries (blue stripe and german flag stripe) and current grey livery Luftwaffe birds for a starter.
A Canadian AF CC-310 Polaris in the current grey livery.
Spanish Air Force A310 in the white livery.
Qatar Amiri flight
ZeroG bird.
Aeroflot!

I agree but to satisfy everyone, the model will need to have three different engines.
Will a manufacturer be ready to do that ?
Fingers crossed ...

I pine for the A310's larger brother, the A300 in B2 and B4 variants. With SAA Flying Springbok colours ....

Both the A310 and A300 B2 and B4 would be very welcome. There are enough liveries to be done for sure. I think/ hope that it is only a matter of time untill we see an A310 mold re appear. Three engine types must be possible, the MD11 used three types of engine aswell and only 200 were built, A310 255.
Untill a new mold appear, Im holding my three hobbymasters. ..

I recently picked up the HM FedEx model. It wasn’t too expensive so I said what the hell.. Everyone here is right - it looks a little funny. But who am I to complain. I’m not entirely picky

I also just realized that there’s no FedEx A300 model...? Is that true??

I had on of the HM A310 which I ultimately sold. They all sit funny to me, slanted upward toward the nose. Is this how the actual aircraft sits? I removed the landing gear on my model and inserted a custom made spacer prior to gluing them back in place before selling the model. It satisfied by desire for a fuselage that sat level, but I may have actually made it more inaccurate. Thoughts?

I hope for an accurate A310 made by Aeroclassics200.
Aeroclassics has aleady a 1/400 mould of it, so maybe one day it will be made in 1/200.

Lufthansa and Sabena delivery-colours for me.

Aeroclassics would be awesome. Hoping for them to bring the A310 too. Would take Swissair, klm, air france, delta and the ones you mentioned..

Isn’t that amazing..? The three major 1:200 companies have all released the A300, and FedEx is the largest A300 operator by far - exactly 1/3 of all planes in operation are flown for FedEx. There’s two UPS versions out, and I would suspect that US based shippers are a good seller. I could also imagine a black Gemini box with a colorful side profile of a FedEx A300
