Default Herpa Preminum 747 Landing Gear Broken

I just bought a Herpa Preminum 747 from eBay. Listing said it was in perfect condition but isn't. For starters, the model is quite yellow though I know I could give fixing the color with hydrogen peroxide a go. No yellowing in the picture or description though. The right horizontal stabilizer has a small chip and is missing a landing light jewel on the wing. And then outer main gear are broken. On one side, the drag strut isn't attached to the wing and the main strut is cracked at the base of the wing. This could be a super glue job but on the other side, the drag strut is missing. It's a long shot but do you guys know of any ideas to get new gear or something?

Individually, I could live with one of these issues but all together I'd rather try to return it. However, I just foresee it being a pain in the *** to return.

You shouldn't need to live with anything that wasn't divulged in the listing. (Unless you are OK with it?) As far as the gear go's, parts from Herpa not likely. When the Singapore Tropical 744 was cancelled, parts likely became a real scarce item. My opinion, it should go back.

I also would try and return it. This is not what youve paid for. If returning is not an option, I would try to superglue the parts but it will allways stay a weak point. Allthough Herpa has real good customer care, I highly doubt if they have a spare gear for a model this old but no try no gain...If you want any tips for whitening your model, Ive recently done two herpa lufty's.

Actually, I WOULD contact Herpa because they have been known to have parts in stock for these models. (I have received parts from them in the past for Herpa Premium 747s.) It is worth a shot to see if they have the gear and landing light. It costs nothing to send them an email.
