Finally I got the model and i am very pleased to see this new innovation from JC Wings on the Jumbo Boeing 747-400, it looks absolutely great in Pokemon livery.

Excellent photos again, love the "touchdown" pictures! All you need is a little smoke coming from the tires!

When it touches down, the spoilers needed to be deployed as well.

It's quite good, however I still don't understand why they couldn't incorporate Herpa Premium style landing gear to accommodate these flaps. Seems easy enough with today's technology.

Thanks for posting these beautiful photos! My Pokeman arrived with one wing, one stabilizer and one antenna detached (thank god I found the antenna inside the box). It was an easy fix no paint lifted. But then again....

That reminded me when I recently went to my local dealer to collect my JC Wings SQ B78X (flaps down). I ordered it a few months back though, upon collection and inspection, suddenly the left wing detached. I immediately rejected the model as the detached part at the wing root area have a little bit of paint peeling due to the detachment.

A week later a new piece arrived at the store from the warehouse and very happy with it.

Great photos and settings. Both models are fabulous. I ordered Pokemon flap-down version a year ago and hope I could receive it next week.

Hi Vandan:

Did you have issues with your models like fallen slats or flap fairings? Or even worst, vertical stabilizers getting loose inside the packaging?

I have bought both Cathay's flaps down, B-HUI and B-HUJ, but both have arrived with those kind of issues. Seems like the models can't take that much the transportation to the Americas. Also know from another fellow who suffered the same thing as me.

Very nice effort from JC Wings, however the plastic features seems to be very fragile. For those who doesn't know, yes, those flaps and slats are plastic pieces. Some how it reminds me to Dragon Wings.

Overall I think these flaps down are good, I really like them.

Greetings!

Maybe that would be a very good idea for JC or Gemini200. A KLM flaps down.

I encountered this problem too. One of the slats stayed in the box, not on the wing, when I received it. Luckily it’s relatively easy for me to glue it back. Keeping these plastic slats/flaps intact during shipping is very challenging and too easy to cause damage.

Yes, those are fragile parts indeed. I can't imagine a better way to package these heavy models. I was thinking about the Herpa Premium packaging but it is a similar foam cradle and those models are not heavy.

Would highly recommend not to tickle to much the flaps or slats, for obvious reasons.

Great photos Vandan, as always thanks for your time. I agree with Modestos, reverse thrust cowlings should follow suit in the model evolution development

I love that Cathay. I don't know why, but that dark green patch on his nose does the trick. Too bad they stopped doing that with the new liveries. A model with this livery is on my wish list. Unfortunately, at this moment these are hard to find...

Unfortunately I have rarely been here in the forum. Today I was back inside and read your comments. Thank you for the compliments and I'm very happy about it. I hope I have time for my hobby again to set up, take some pictures of my new models and will share with you here in the forum. I haven't given up this hobby and every once in a while I've bought a couple of new models I like.

I only put a very small but heavy piece metal on the vertical stabilizer.
