Glad you like the shots !
This model costed me so much ... but each time I look at her ... I'm so happy to have in my collection.
If you find one ... go for it as long as you can affort the price (even if expensive).

Mike, since this model is sold out at HERPA, you will probably have a harder time finding it at reasonable prices.
BUT, the KLM version is still available through them, and it is also an excellent example of premium quality, you may want to take it into account!

just for info: herpa announced today that the premium anz 747-400 is available again in their online store. price: euro 202

I payed a bloody amount of money for my ANZ747 'cause they told me it was sold out ....
Now It is relisted at 200Euro ????

Not serious at all !!!

well, basically it was sold out. here is what herpa says: "Because Herpa is a company certified according to ISO 9001, a small number of each production is kept as samples. When the obligatory time for which we have to keep certain items in our archives is over, we can -- like in this case -- sell the last samples available. A quite interesting feature about the last 24 of this model is that the certificates carry the numbers 1 through 24."

I like the aircraft so much I have one on display and a second one still in the original inner black and outer cardboard boxes. Average price under $200 USD. May be my favorite premium, although the KLM is very nice as well.
