CX+B747=My all time favourite! Never forget when they dramatically landed at the old Kai Tak airport.

Really nicely done! As much as I support and enjoy JC's innovations, the reality is that usually the models arrived damaged due to the poor quality of glue used and assembly. Either way, would like to see more of this in the future.

Oh boy, I really need one of these! Can you tell me where you ordered this from?
Also, it looks like you had two different stands for your pictures?

Awesome models! Are these pre-production samples that will be in for pre-ordering for the future?

Very nice looking model. The extended flaps feature makes the model look exceptionally beautiful. I hope to get one of these 747's for myself.

For me the only thing that would make this perfect would be some weathering. An option very much needed I think.

Also in BA livery would be amazing.

I am not sure …

Inflight has tried something similar with an AF B 727.
Not convincing and not convinced.

How about Air Force One on a 747-200? That would be great!

Passing thought but maybe an idea to sell these flaps down wings on their own. That way people with a Jc/gj mould can upgrade their existing models.

Can anyone verify that Simon's name is below Nick's name on the starboard side under the cockpit windows as depicted in the "Final Flight" pictures from October 30, 2016? I will hope they are different from port to starboard as it would indicate the pilot's position on the flight deck. (Nick's name on top on starboard as he was the co-pilot, and Simon's name on top on port side as he was in the pilot's seat for the flight).

Thanks for checking and great pictures!

I wonder what configuration JC intended this one to be.... if it is landing config. the struts of the landing gear should be a little longer (similar to the 77W). BTW i would get a KL 748i in this config in a heartbeat! Impressive model...

I always get port and starboard mixed up, but it appears Simon's name is on top on the starboard side, while Nick's name is on top on the port side. So, facing the flight deck from the nose, on the right side Simon's on top while on the left side Nick's is.

Edit: I found some pictures online for B-HUI and looks like JC got it right.

Sorry, but just the 2 last posts make it clear (again) that JCWINGS didn't got the green color right

CX never had that bright green color
