Default Questions About Inflight DC-10 Packaging

Hi, I just received my IF EAL DC-10 (it's gorgeous), and I have two questions about the packaging of the model.
  • The bottom piece of foam the model sits in has a thin slot between the left wing and left stabilizer. Is there something that's supposed to be in that slot?
  • Why does IF use the same printed sleeve for two models (Eastern & Air Florida)? Is it just to save money?
Thanks,
Matthew

No, the slot is not for the base of the stand...it's attached to the stand and it's in another space. The slot I'm asking about is 3.5" long by 1/8" wide. The base of the stand wouldn't fit in it. Any other thoughts? I just want to make sure nothing's missing.

Thank you,
Matthew

Is is 2" deep? Sounds like it would fit the limited-edition number card, if supplied.
