A Nice Bit of Luck

Popped into ARD today to pick up a model I had put by, But unfortunately they had sold it by mistake, it was part of a collection they had bought last week, so never mind these things happen, so the luck part was they had just received another collection this week, so I asked if I could take a look and low and behold
I managed to pick the last Inflight BA B747-400 I didn't have in my collection,
and for a very reasonable price, I picked up the BA B747-400 "RED NOSE DAY"
G-CIVC in mint condition, and no sign of the usual cracking on the blue paint.

Great stuff. You scooped a model you want, & it didn't cost a small fortune. Didn't they have a gold nose version as well?

That is really a nice bit of luck Steve. I also collect oneworld everything. I had this model and sold it when JCW brought out their new 747-400 mould. I should not have. Anyhow congratulations are due on this very rare find. Well done

Hi Robert Some off them went on Ebay And and some he sold in the shop.
