I'd bet it has engines, just like the previous bare metal releases.

January of what year? JCW seems like they are getting slower at getting the models actually produced, in the hands of retailers, and ultimately to the collectors.

I have not seen many Air France models these last months …

The B 747-400 F-GITJ which made the last AF commercial flight between Mexico and Paris on 11 January, 2016 would be nice.

Any chance to have a revised A 340-300 incorporating all the necessary changes to have an accurate model ?

A model with the Airbus roll-out colors would be great.
F-WWAI, first flight on October 25, 1991, one of the longest flights in the history of aviation : 4 hours 47 minutes, or F-WWAS, second prototype, would be most welcome.

PS : for personal reasons, I would prefer the F-WWAS …

Thanks Crownvic. The notable picks for me are the 787-10 (new mold is already available in house colours) and the LOT 763 that belly landed in Warsaw.
I would be all over the LOT 763 if only JCW or Gemini started using the more common CF6 engine mold, not a PW4000, on their 763s...

Interesting to see that they were able to locate their A300 mould again in their basement. It must have been a very lonely life for this poor fella...

Also hoping for a LTU MD-11 one day. And since they re discovered the A300 mould, how about a Eastern A300? Eastern played a big role in the A300 program.

Probably, it’s needless to say but... the current A300-600 mould would not fit the needs for an Eastern A300.

OOPS.... really...?!? Did I say the -40 didn’t have the center MLG? Hum... does anyone know if the -40 (-20) was originally designed to not have the center MLG but finally got it anyway?

I gotta go with this one. I assume it has the customer tails on the aft fuselage? They have made the other 2 test planes.

Doesn't look to be a lot of difference between N8701Q and the previous release N8704Q. Apart from the customer tails, N8701Q has different titles under the cockpit windows ("Spirit of Renton" vs "100 Years of Boeing"), red passenger windows for flight test instruments and of course different serials.

Apart from those things they appear to be identical. Does anyone closer to the planes see any other difference?

SIA 787-10 is tempting, but I don't know why the 787-10 has white engines on official pics.
Do they repaint them after delivery ? ;o)

How many JCW models have been announced within the last months without pics - 40...or 50? I think announcements make a lot more sense with sample pics to get a first impression.

Just adding to this, the photo of the real aircraft in the preorders thread shows N8701Q without the customer tails.

Just go to EZtoys.com and you will see what ALL the manufacturers are releasing. They also seem to have other releases that don't get mentioned.

I understand the Korean 787-9 flaps down is going the way of Herpa's Il-62-a no-show. JC wings you are indeed a tease! I hope Herpa doesn't follow suit with its C-5 Galaxy.
