Long time ago (over a year) I saw this model sold for 1000$us but since there are some other Inflight releases as well as Gemini (Of course Billboard titles) the model dropped to over 120$us. But is is a gem indeed.

Yeah, i guess to that the right price would be somewhere in that range, give or take.
The gemini and the others had some "repros" but i dont think that should have an affect on the Inflight200 model. An original ferrari and a replica has different prices :P lol
The event of the price drop to 120usd must be the lack of knowledge of the different producents and models. Its easy to see a model on ebay and throw your out for the same or lower price without really knowing what you compared to in the first place..
I remember one of these releases,lots of discussion about the "Clipper Font". Is this the model?
Yes it is that model.
The IF200 Pan Am 747-100 has got the name "Clipper Young America"
printed with capital and small letters in a totally wrong font !
The letters should be in a capital and italic font.
Also the blue is too dark.
On the "Clipper Defender" model both of these errors have been corrected.

If that we’re true then the original Gemini Deltas would still be worth a lot. Good luck trying to get more than $60 for the 757.
I bought one from another DAC memory over a year ago. For me given it was a limited Inflight release, Pan Am, and the reg, I paid $300. which seems like its still a fair value for this model.

Yeah, I must be drunk and everyone else. You could do a search if eBay’s sold listings to find out that original releases are not considered Ferrari’s as you stated. Sure, some will have an attachment to a specific registration but if you think you’re going to sell your IF200 for what they were getting before the Gemini release then good luck and feel free to list.
Maybe I should drop a few thousand on some AA 727’s that way when it does get released again for $65 then I can sell the original Ferrari’s for $500. They’ll definitely appreciate in value!

No he is right, the resale value took a big hit after the re release. As I always say never buy a model for investment. Seen this happen a couple of times. I remember times when the Herpa Pan Am 747 fetched high prices but as better moulds came out with more detail the price dropped. Other examples are the delta widget Tristars and the eastern Tristars.
I can honestly say,I have never purchased a model,with the thought of future value. Take my Herpa Premium,American A300. I bought it directly from Herpa. It never occurred to me,in a few years,you can probably get $1000 for it? Two models I have been looking for,FOREVER!!

It is a beautiful model no doubt, but I think at $620 it was over priced. I have a pan am 747-100 and while it is not that registration I get the same enjoyment out of it as if it were. Congrats on the sale, you must have found the right buyer at the right time.
