Default GJ C-130J Dtess AFB

Hi guys. Just picked this up this week. I'll post more pics in the Military section, but just wanted to post a pic in this section to give you an idea of the model.

Over all a great little model. I had concerns about the gap around the opening doors (both tail and side of fuselage), but everything turned out fine; both look great

A beautiful little model, I received my sample yesterday and I find it absolutely adorable

I love the option to remove the landing gear as well. The nose gear was quite hard to get out,
but i succeeded after some tweaking. Then I did some grinding to get the nose gear easier
back in, or out again.

Certainly, looks like a nice model - quite impressed with the 1/200 military planes coming out these days.

I fully agree ! Could easily handle one C-130J dressed up as a Royal Norwegian Airforce bird, too !

Oh yes, fully agree.

It is interesting to see how small the Hercules really is, even though this is the J-30
(stretched version). I´ve flown on the Herc several times in the Army and I always
remember it as a plump mid-sized plane.., but now it looks quite small even compared
to a Boeing 737-800 or A321

I was surprised by how small the model really was also. Much smaller than I thought it would be.

I've been around real C-130s and they were pretty big! I couldn't imagine a 737 carrying a few Humvees, but that is about what this models compares to size wise. I guess they are only small in comparison to current wide bodies.
