My friend visited Japan last month and brought me these stainless etching parts, so I spent some sleepless nights to build these scaffolds, there were very small parts and needed patience and so much time but now I have done it. I would like to share this with you. Enjoy the photos and hope you also like this!
Re: Photos: Metal Scaffold & some Lufthansa models
Great work on the scaffolding Vandan - very neat! Really works well in your hangar setup. I especially like the shots with the Herpa 747 as the clear cockpit windows look really good. Compliments on the photography as always!
Re: Photos: Metal Scaffold & some Lufthansa models
Truly AMAZING pics again. I always enjoy the marvelous details. The premium 744 is the best out there, those cockpit windows are great!

Re: Photos: Metal Scaffold & some Lufthansa models
Looks very effective, particularly with the rest of the diorama... and yes PE parts can be tedious to put together. Although putting together individual linked tracks for a 1/35 tank is even more of a pain.
Re: Photos: Metal Scaffold & some Lufthansa models
Great modeling skills - combined with nice Lufthansa models makes an impressive diorama. More than just collecting, this is the work of a true hobbyist. Thanks, Doug

Thanks Deadlef, you're right, this is a Herpa Premium model LH B744 'Baden-Württemberg" D-ABVC
At the beginning I didn't think of taking photos with a Herpa Premium. After I saw the photos with the MD11, especially the cockpit window and the close-up photos, I was dissatisfied with the photos, the cockpit window didn't look good, not as real as it gets
Re: Photos: Metal Scaffold & some Lufthansa models
Fantastic job !
The idea to display the models in a hangar on the top shelf of a cabinet or on its top (Detolf), is something to explore and could be a brilliant one, something I could try to do.
I would like to have enough time to do something in that direction …
I am very busy at the moment to expand my Air France fleet, I have four models at various stages of completion, that will last for a few months.
Congratulations, it's great to have people like you in the forum.
Re: Photos: Metal Scaffold & some Lufthansa models
Fantastic pictures and very realistic scaffolding! Knowing how small the people's figures are, it must have been quite a challenge to set up the diaroma, let alone to manufacture the scaffolding. It's a pleasure to look at your pictures! And nice to see an MD11 and A350 in one hangar.
