It's a shame the KLM Fokker 70 is not being released in 1:200. It's a very nice livery.

There's nothing that particularly interests me in the 200 releases, although it's good to see a CRJ.

I'd actually like to see a CRJ-200 of United Express in that livery...

Will pass on these... and have to spend the bucks on some of the forthcoming Inflight releases instead.

The first NEO!!! So two buses for me! VA A321neo and Allegiant A319! Airbus A319 with sharklets is a sharp looking plane. I think this will only be the second one released beside the American.

Hope the Allegiant will have a registration, the A320 when announced didn't have one but was released with one. But...I don't think Allegiant has an A319 w/sharklets in the new livery....yet....

Hoping for a Frontier A320neo and Spirit A320neo next!

The Rouge 767 is interesting too....that livery is nice looking!

Yeah....but it will be around for another two years. I don't think they'll be fully combined with Alaska until sometime in 2019.

That is correct. And starting sometime next year, Alaska will redesign its cabins to include new seats and, in some planes, Virgin America’s distinctive blue lighting. Alaska's staff will also have new uniforms created by Seattle designer Luly Yang.

This month's releases were kinda disappointing. I like the 1/400 selections more, but 1/400 is too small for me

I'll take the CRJ just because it's a CRJ, unfortunately still no Lufthansa Regional one.

In a time long long ago I used to get excited about Gemini releases. Hints you actually stood a chance getting and releases that were interesting and what people want. Now we are left disappointed, rarely we are met with that 'oh gosh I must have that' release feeling.
There are so many big releases that could be done but are never entertained. Real shame. Sorry for the negative thoughts friends.

Same! Hopefully when the F9 neo comes out its the same as the 400 release.

We also need a standard Spirit A320 too.

I thought the same thing, because the hint said "polished." About a year after the name change to USAir, they changed the livery to bare metal like AA. But both the speed wedge and the triple red liveries had polished bellies. I'm hopeful we'll see a polished triple red DC-9 sometime, and a whitetop Allegheny in the triple red scheme.

I'm up for this Allegheny just the same.

Does the 'hint' method used by Gemini just lead to disappointment these days? Seems as though it does to me. Maybe they should just announce them like the other manufacturers do.

What one collector thinks is a cool model, another could find boring. Everyone is different when it comes to collecting diecasts. I think you're only in trouble if for an entire year the collector has found every single new release to be boring and didn't buy any of them.

Me too. Gemini is the only manufacturer that gives us releases monthly....and that I appreciate. I don't always buy something every month, but for me it's fun to see the releases.

Allegiant, Aer Lingus, Air Canada, United Express look like nice releases as well but do not fit my collecting criteria. Thank you Gemini jets.

We all should be happy that Gemini does this for us. I know I appreciate it.
Um... what exactly are you referring to?!

I am into aviation and as a result I once decided that collecting models is like fun to me, so I started collecting scale models.

Some 10-15 years later, a couple of companies named Herpa, DragonWings and GeminiJets initiated the 1/400 scale which offered a new dimension in variety and detail. Again some 5-10 years on, the same companies plus Inflight introduced detailed diecast metal models in 1/200 scale, even more detailed. I like them and I appreciate every single model I desire and which is made by either one of them.

Anyway, they are doing this because they discovered a way to make money - that's it,... nothing more, nothing less. Therefore, sorry, I don't appreciate they are doing this - I appreciate that their products meet my hobby interest. And, of course, I pay them for what they are doing.

As with every set of new releases, you can't please everyone.

I also appreciate the regular monthly Gemini releases. Probably the only current manufacturer who does that.

I just wish they would stop using some of the molds that need improving until they are actually, well, improved. I'd rather have fewer releases each month and better models ( this goes for ALL of the brands). Nose shapes, small cockpit windows, and high passenger windows are my main gripes on several of the GJ/JCW molds. I suspect it is more the JCW molds that are at fault.

Like their slogan says Models by collectors for collectors. But it is also a business, so I think some of their motivation has to do with earning a living also, so the models aren't just made exclusively for us. I would also love to hear some members express the 'we are lucky they do it for us' sentiment towards other manufacturers as well.
