Is Mr. Chan terminally ill? There is something in this list, which almost resembles a retro aircraft...
I'm almost tempted to praise the lord but it was probably just Mr. Chan's confused condition which led to this unusual release...

Another boring batch of releases... Still many awaited 747's, MD-11's, 767's and A340's to be released! Besides, there are countless models announces that haven't been out since their announcements months ago.
I have already got the GJ200 Air China 748. However, I don't rule out the possibility of getting this one as well, given that Air China 748 is a model that I want to keep and I don't mind keeping a spare. What makes me struggled is that JC Wings and Inflight 200 are both producing the 737max of different Chinese airlines, making me rethink about which to get. Possibly they come from the same mold and maybe I will get a few from JC Wings and a few from inflight 200 to see their differences.
I will grab number 14 on this list Garuda's first 737-8 max PK-GDA and when Fiji Airways get their first of five 737-8 max delivered from Boeing, I hope JCW or GJ are on board to do the first DQ- registration
Am I right in assuming the Air China 350 doesn't come with a rego because they haven't been delievered as yet ? They are supposedly to be delivered next month so I don't know why JCW wouldn't wait and apply a rego.
This Aeromexico 777 looks horrible! The landing gear is too tall (as usual with these latest releases), the engines are too high up and appear too small for a GE-90.
Hmmmmm....yes! I saw photos posed on Instagram and I saw the forward gear is way too high. But on the engines...yeah...they do look way too small, but maybe it just looks that way because the model sits too high?
Is that your model? Or is it a photo from a seller?
From a seller. Collecting aircraft means you have the right to observe every detail and notice any flaws. Again, why should I spend hundreds of dollars on models that have flaws which shouldn't have been there in the first place? That's what quality control is for, to ensure the product that is being distributed is accurate and ready for the market. This has hardly been the case over the past couple of years unfortunately. You have some seriously low standards since you seem to think every single model is pure perfection.

Agreed. Pretty poor model overall. Also agree Jan, with the amount of money that the models cost, I think we have a 'right' to complain about flaws, but more important, try to raise awareness to get them fixed.
Wonder if this is the 'improved' JCW 777 mold with the 'bigger engines ' that ALITALIA AZ610 was talking about in another post. Hopefully not.
I don't think it is just me, but JCW models seem to be going through a 'regressive' period right now with their 777 and 787 molds getting worse, not better. Cockpit window printing that is too small, noses with centerpoints that are too high, and in the case of the GE-90 777-300ER engines, molds that are over-scaled and don't look like the real thing. On this model, looks like they just took the cheap way out and used the last generation GE-90 and pylon mold with a 'new' (actually the really old) intake lip. The too high nose and over-sized nose gear really make the whole nose look odd. That is why I won't buy any more JCW 777 models until they fix a few areas of the mold.
I do like their 737 MAX8 mold though. I just couldn't resist the Garuda 737 model.

No it isn't, I was comparing 77W molds, JCW's versus Inflight's.
The f-gear on this 772 (and the 77W) is too tall and the GE90-94B engine is indeed too small and wrong shape. A lazy carryover from previous 772s.
Disappointing from JCW, especially after new engine molds where shown for the 772s a while ago via preview pictures on this forum.

There is a possibility that this photo could be of the pre-production model, but anyways, no I am not a perfectionist, I just felt like posting that meme

Even JCW's 777-200 mold used to be better using the Battleship 777-200 as an example..
Center point of the nose used to be lower (more accurate) and the cockpit window printing was a little larger. Compare the nose and cockpit window printing with current models. And the mold changes are going the wrong way. The 777-200 noses now look like the 777-300ER which is a big mistake.
If JCW was serious about 777 models, they would make a few changes. Move the center point of the nose down to where it should be, increase the size of the cockpit windows by about 15%, and get rid of the over sloping fan cowl on the top of their new GE-90s. They should also reduce the angle of the intake lip and make the pylon a little thicker. They could also slightly reduce the diameter of the fan cowl. They scale out to 14.1' instead of the correct 13.7'. The Inflight engines are closer at a scale 13.4', and have a better shape, but neither engine is the correct size. With these few changes, I would start buying JCW/GJ 777 models again.
I applaud JCW for adding detail to the tail of their 777 models, but the top protrusion (strobe) should extend out a little further out than the bottom protrusion (position light).
Anxiously awaiting the Garuda 737 and previously announced Qatar A350-1000.

No. Pre-production photos don't happen, and even if they do they never actually change things. The photos from this retailer appear when models have arrived to their warehouse and are ready for distribution.

I've been limiting my JCW purchases a lot recently. As much as IF200 has mistakes themselves, their overall look is much more realistic to me (at least on their 787, 777 series). I just can't stand how cheap JC Wings is looking this past year. They were on the right path with those first few months of 747's, but even those are looking cheap recently.

I'm doing the same thing. I've never been crazy about the JCW 777-300ER mold.
Their 787 used to be pretty good, except for the ground clearance and cockpit windows. Same with the 747. But both seem to have taken a turn for the worse recently, particularly the landing gear. Seems to me JCW needs to stop making stupid changes to their molds. In most cases the old molds were better.
Count me in too. MUCH better, particularly the nose and nose gear.
Me too, great mold. Looking forward to the new klm's (A333)
