Agree, strange/interesting choices this month. Nothing for me, except for maybe the gulfstream, but that will have to wait until after we see pictures.
A quick question please - is the Concorde G-BOAF the same model as the previous release or has it been modified in any way? A personal note - I always disliked the moveable nose in the first issue! Many thanks.
Think I might go for the condor 753. The thing I don't understand is that gemini chooses this condor release, because there is only a very small market for it. Emailed them last month about a 1:200 martinair md11 but they stated the market for it was too small.
Really don't think that the market is bigger for a condor 753...but for me as a regular FRA visitor it is interesting.

Hoping the Air Transat A310 released in 1:400 means there will hopefully be one coming in 1:200!!

So many airlines could be done on a decent A310 mould! Would love to see a 1/200 model in the various Lufthansa-liveries: LH delivery, LH eurowhite, LH Express.

The G650 looks interesting other than that nothing appeals to me.
I am very interested to know how Gemini (and others such as IF200,JC etc....) decide on
which models to produce.Does anyone have answers to this ?
I would say that certain releases are at the paid request of current airlines.
Judging by member's comments most of what they produce does not have much appeal.
One pleasant surprise this month is that GJ said what their August releases will be
without pre-issuing those awful hints !
a big batch of meh. I'm sure the air tran will be popular for some but nothing here for me at all. It has been quite a few months now since I have gotten a gemini new release.

Would buy them all!

Speaking of USAF VIP planes...everybody see that 1:400 AF1 748? How long until we see that in 1:200? I really, really want one...
As much as I want the AF1 748, it is still a fantasy model at this time. Until they actually paint one up and give it a registration number, I would rather wait. Just my opinion.

I totally agree. What if they have a subtle change to the livery? I know, very unlikely, but possible. I need to have cash handy for that AirTran B717.

I would worry less about a livery change than the fact that "AF1"s are heavily modified and will have structural differences that we can't know about yet, like anti-missile blisters, sat-com domes, etc.
Unnecessary side-rant > I'm decidedly against producing any model before the prototype is seen. There's no rush, yet the manufacturers think they have to be the first to make one to capture the market. I would wait and get a correct version from the patient manufacturer. It's too bad none of them live up to their claims of "most accurate and detailed models in the world".

I don't have a problem with it being a fantasy model. It's a model after all!
It's not like there will only be one run of it...let's be honest. How many times has IF200 run the current 742? At least 4 times that I can think of. With improvements each round.
