I agree. I did try to make my own, but it did not come out as good as a factory model. See the bottom of http://www.diecastaircraftforum.com/...nt-custom.html

I was told this one couldn't be done, because British Airways no longer operates this aircraft, or by lease....and that the licensing couldn't be attained.

I believe you are absolutely correct. Then again we have been able to get the Star Wars liveries. And the "missing" liveries that happen to be Cathays. Where there is a will there is a way, or loophole!!

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I finally have a good representation of this beauty. As mentioned up thread, I made one of my own a few years back, but to be honest, it was pretty amateurish. I have had a Global Supply Systems 747F donor waiting since 2016 for someone skilled enough to do a custom for me, and Istari (Ben) came through for me.

Unfortunately the shippers seem to have played soccer with the box in transit as it was pretty banged up when I received it, so I need to adjust and fix the detached wings to narrow the wing joint gap - but in the interim - here she is in all her glory:

Stunning looking aircraft. Chelsea Rose was certainly one of my favourite world tails.

It’s the one you were buying from the UK that we swapped for the one I originally had in the US. You even had to send me back the decals that I forgot were in the box.
