So it's come to my attention recently about the new stands JC Wings will be incorporating with their narrowbody models from now on.
The JC Wings Facebook page has shown some photos of recent model releases recently and they have a new stand without the plaque.
In my opinion, the plaque is a great small detail to add to the model so why have they decided to remove it??
I received a response:
"Those stands appeared in the photos are new metal stands for small aircrafts (e.g A320/737). We will have another new design for larger aircraft such as 777/A330 and that one will have a small plaque on it."
I have to say that I am disappointed in the removal of these plaques as I think they really add to the model quality.
I also noticed a comment on their Facebook page by a fellow collector who stated "After the big steps forward you have taken to raise the bar for 1:200, you guys seemed to have gone slightly backwards by removing the stands metal plaque. An odd move which I hope you'll rectify."
I do like the look of the new stand and I think it would be great to keep the plaques on the stands for all aircraft types. InFlight200 have no issue with that so surly JC Wings can match that.
Is there any way we can all voice up to them somehow asking for this to be reinstated for future model releases?
