Default Inflight Air France Boeing 777-300ER 80th Anniversary

Just arrived today. Beautiful piece. Just slightly tail heavy on the gear. Put a small piece of earthquake putty under the nose gear.

If anybody has a better suggestion...

Edit: one of the main gears didn't have a metal shim. A piece of the putty and she sits perfectly level as well as left to right.

Well, I have an Air France A380 80th anniversary arriving today. However, after seeing this, I think the 80th livery on 777 is better than the 80th livery on A380.

Have you tried swapping the fuselage gear wheels over? that's if there not permanently fixed. I had this problem once with a 747 whereas the nose wheel also raised off the ground and was told by a member here to do this which did the trick.

Antony.

I also have this one from JCW. They'd look even better together 😉

Not really the 80th anniversary of the airline which was celebrated in 2013.

In 2015, the F-GSQI received a special livery featuring a giant accent consisting of a graffiti of the French flag.
The artist was JonOn.

Jean Pierre.

Did not try swapping the gear. I thought they only went in one way. However the little piece of putty to replace the missing shim does the trick.

Unfortunately the landing gear for this model fits into the wheel wells only one way.

I sent you a PM as well, but try putting a small piece of plastic or cardboard in the outer edge of the gear well and make sure the landing gear is fully seated in the wheel well so the landing gear hang straight down instead of tilting outward a little bit. Not sure why this makes a difference, but it does. As a permanent fix, IF should make the outside edge of its landing gear just a little bit thicker.

This cured the same problem with my Garduda Indonesia model, and she now sits firmly on the nose gear.
