That's quite the fleet of 747s! I just started the hobby a little over a couple years ago and am up to 44 right now. Long live the queen!

A minuscule collection of 5 Inflight 200's. Springbok South African 747 SP/200 ( desperately hoping for Springbok 300/400 releases,please Inflight ), QANTAS old colours 747 SP/200 and the Iberia 747-200 as an Iberia collector. Waiting for the Aerolíneas Argentinas 747-SP.

Forget the plastic and tell us how many diecast B747's you have. Just curious.

As I'm not into hoarding I stick to my collection-criteria and own three Lufthansa 747-100/-200s in 1970s livery.

I had no idea Leslie that you had that many. You must rotate the collection to display? Or a giant basement to display all at once?

Just two for now, a GJ Lufthansa 747-8i and a Virgin Atlantic 747-400 However, I plan to get at least two or three cargo birds, in AirBridge, Cargolux and Martinair liveries.

200 is impressive. Only have a few as they take up a lot of shelf space. At one point I was thinking of only collecting Hogan as they can be dismantled and put in storage easily.

747 certainly is an iconic airliner and not surprised it's been released a lot in diecast.

Heck yeah, 100 747s is great! I would love to have a few more but space limitations prevent it. The 747 was such an important airliner, and so many airlines flew it at one time or another it's hard to have only a few of them.

Just counted my 747's as I sold some of them lately;
2 flight miniatures, 3 Skymarks, 12 hogan, 11 herpa, 9 jc wings /gemini, 19 inflight so that makes 56 total. That makes the 747 the most presented model in my collection, second is the DC10/MD11 with 38 examples.

747's on pre order;

Inflight klm 747-200 klm/viasa
Inflight klm 747-400 "panda"
Inflight martinair 747-200 ph-mce
Inflight martinair 747-200 ph-mcf

Nice thread Leslie!
