Would very much like to see this model one day. There is a company currently in Russia putting out Russian 1/200s very similar to herpa (pretty sure they used one of the herpa moulds). Think they are called aviastar?! maybe they will do it?

Ben- AviaBoss. My guess is, they were making models for Herpa (like the announced, then withdrawn IL-76), but for some reason Herpa backed out, so they decided to market on their own. (Note: not real news, just opinion.)

It's AviaBoss. Looks like Herpa molds. I have the Il-76.

Go on their website by searching 'AvaiBoss' via link below. Find the model you want. Payment is directly through Paypal.

If these manufacturers can only translate or think out of the box the message from The Field of Dreams- "If you build it thy will come".

Il-62 and all the Russian Airliners

Very good.

Engine option may limit the liveries.

Guys, hold your breath. European Collector has as much inside information as I have - none. This is pure wishful thinking on his side.

Still, as the A310 is the more beautiful and significant aircraft, it has to be realized before the IL-62.

as Vertigo said, it was just a guess. they have an A310 in 1/400 and they also have a 727 in 1/200 and 1/400 which leads me to the conclusion we someday also might get a very decent 300/310
