Hi Folks
I am trying to identify these KLM models in particular the 747, they were from a post made quiet a while back
in the forum: 1:200 Oneworld Collection (some customs) : member abug1985
The attached image was cut from the original image.
Any help with maker and or availability of them much appreciated !!
Thanks all
Gordo

The KLM 747 seems more like a Skymarks type....you can tell by the cockpit window print or back tail....but like schaeffer says correctly ...difficult picture
I would agree with the last post. The picture isn't really clear though.
The KLM 747 looks like a Skymarks model. No antennas probably means Hogan of Skymarks and it does have thick door outlines on the area below the cheatline, and it doesn't have the infamous Hogan 'duck nose'.
Morning ooh777
Thanks for the input, does look very similar but have given up trying to identify this one as I know there is a whole
world of 747s out there waiting to be added to my modest start-up fleet. Looking to be inspired by you learned folks
on this board so if you have any pics you can share with me please do so !!
Thanks Gord

I use to own this Pax KLM 747-400 model from skymarks years ago. It is a beauty...I do not have a picture of this type anymore but I still do own the KLM 747-400 Cargo version from skymarks. Occasionally I do see that this type you are looking for is being sold on the second hand market. I can keep an eye out for you. I have shared the pictures from the Cargo 747 KL version with you.
Enjoy the pictures...cheers Sergio

Good morning Sergio
Thank you so much for that , wonderful eye candy and yes i feel very inspired looking at that KLM livery
the blue is very easy on the eyes. Did you replace it with something else ? Also what is the 747 above it ?

Hello again
You have given me something to shoot for all so very nice you have quiet a collection of other models to the side and below .
I notice some of the royal delft houses as well I actually have two of them in storage my parents were given when they were
on a klm flight many moons ago and they are treasured, but both seemed to have "evaporated" while in the care of my father !!

Yes the delft houses are nice...there are groups of people here in the NL that especially collects them....unfortunate that they are not there anymore with you farther ...
My collection is a modest one...I have reduced the nr models to a small number as I want to have a small collection , not to stock the room full with models anymore like I use to. My favorites are KLM, Ana, Cathay, Garuda, SIA, China, Korean.....Next month I will be getting the eva air 777 and CX 747-8 Cargo...
In the future I will go for the JAL MD 11, Ana 777-300, MAS Hibiscus 747...
And I am trying o get another KLM 747-400 1/100...

Quiet a selection you have planned ahead for !! , the only one i am thinking about in the near future
may be a Lufthansa Boeing 747-400 Berlin (prefer) or Bremen 1:200 or anything else that catches my
eye .
I am intrigued as to where you will find your KLM 747-400 1/100. Do you have a specialist supplier nearby
or a friendly travel agent who may be able to help you out .

These Skymarks klm 744's are the best models Skymarks ever made imho. Had them both but sold them in favor of metal ones. But they were very good! Still have some Skymarks models in the collection though.

Yes I have to say that I am more inclined to diecast models now as
opposed to the plastic type as when growing up I made enough of
them as im sure the majority of people on this forum would have
done too !!
