Cool JC Wings Aeromexico B787-9 "Quetzalcoatl"

Hello everyone:

I received this model yesterday, was waiting for it so anxiously after some months of delay. Today just made a quick photo shooting and have to say this model is quite good, really good job by JC, happy with the replication of this model.

Here some pictures.

Great photos! I just ordered this one, it's getting hard to find.

Really, there are not that many special livery 787's out there.

Is this the same updated 787 mould with revised gear that everyone was panning not long ago? Thanks to Erik's wonderful photos, we can make a direct comparison, and I must say to me it looks pretty good. To the detractors, what's wrong with it? Please be specific.

something looks different about this release, in a very good way. Engine cleareance seems good, and the nose gear is back to the shorter strut.

If this was just a "quick photo shoot" I can't imagine what you might produce when you put your mind to it!
Great pictures!

Get it while you can....its sold out at most retailers, and I think the distributor is out of stock too.

Well done "Aeromexico". That is a snazzy looking airplane. My local retailer has them in stock. I should pick one up.

Erik,I am glad you like this model. I know how disappointed you were at the brown cheat line DC-10.

Surely we all have passed through a disappointment with certain models, mine was very recent. This B787-9 is certainly the opposite, great piece to add, it worth all these months waiting.

I also have been told this model is now out of stock at JC's warehouse and with some retailers. So, if you like it, hurry-up and catch yours.

Greetings!

Interesting that this livery has the name of a pterasaur from the Late Cretaceous Era 70 Million Years Ago;

JC Wings Aeromexico B787-9 "Quetzalcoatl"

It's actualy

"Quetzalcoatlus northropi"

Interesting they name a plane like this, yet it seems to have little to do with the Pterasaur it's self as the art goes...
Paleontology like collecting dino's & minerals are also other serious hobbies of mine, as many have seen and read my intro topic

Are you serious?!

Quetzalcoatl is an Aztec deity, the name comes from the nahuatl language and means "feathered serpent", this aztec god is related to agriculture and rain waters. It has nothing to be with dinosaurs.

If one day you go to Mexico, don't forget to visit Teotihuacan and spend a day in the National Museum of Anthropology.
You won't regret it …

It just reminded me of that Pterasaur named "Quetzalcoatlus northropi" as its name went., no harm meant with that tbh.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quetzalcoatlus

Mainly due to this:
"Quetzalcoatlus, a pterosaur from the Late Cretaceous named after Quetzalcoatl"

No need to feel angry upset or annoyed, all because someone posts something that has a very similar meaning..
It seems you also tend to misread me as well, not the first time people do that.

Even so, I actually found it cool that it's name was similar to this Pterasaur. Paleontology is one of more more serious hobbies btw.
Hence why I found this of great interest and cool that a plane carried the name from what this Pterasaur was named after.

My apologies that I made you feel upset for giving you the wrong perspective on the matter That was really not my intention.
So yes I could of been more detailed, yet that didn't pack out too well.

Also your "HERE" link is broken, so I went to Wikipedia instead:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quetzalcoatl

That does sum it up for me, thanks for sending me a friendly PM about this likewise.
