Default JCW fantasy 748s

...just for the case that the door is now open for more fantasy models...here (once again) is some inspiration. to be honest thare isn't ANY classic scheme which does not fit onto this aircraft!

by the way a China Airlines 77W in delivery scheme would be just fantastic!

I really have no interest in fantasy models, but OH MY GOODNESS some of those classic liveries on the 748 are stunning. I think I like the Continental Red Meatball best.

Delta Widget or Eastern Airlines (polished) would be great too.

by the way, does JCW have a working E-mail adress, or can you just contact them via facebook?

How about instead of making fantasy models, actually produce something that was once real, BA World Cargo 748!

Agree as well!! There are a lot of current 748's that really need some attention, and would LOVE a BA World Cargo for the record.

Qantas to retire 747-438 before it's 100th birthday (founded 16th November 1920)

The last six are 747-438ER's VH-OEE, VH-OEF, VH-OEG, VH-OEH, VH-OEI, VH-OEJ

How about a 747-8 in classic Cathay Pacific livery or in old British Airways livery?

I'm not really into fantasy models but obviously these liveries suit the 748 well. To bad so little airlines choose to fly this wonderful bird

I would prefer these:
  • Air France, actual livery
  • British Airways, Union Jack
  • KLM, actual livery, perhaps an "Orange Pride" version
  • All Nippon Airways
  • Cathay Pacific, actual
  • Delta Airlines, actual livery

I don't know, airlines that used to had the B744 in service and they are no longer operating the jumbo jet or airlines that are in process to retire it.

Shame the B747 passenger program is coming to an end, nothing last forever.

i think the reason for JCW to do 748i fantasy models that the lack of liveries is a little problem for them (just like the real thing), and to break-even they decided to put some popular liveries on it.

https://www.aviation-center-berlin.d...14/i3TzvT6.jpg

THOUGH if you look at the drawing you see the upcoming Pan Am 748 is a livery mix between the billboard and the deöivery scheme from the 70s. i never saw that combination - does it really exist, or will the final product differ from the drawing?

The pictures look nice and I will keep looking at pictures of them or take an occasional look at a show, but that is all. Too many other planes being released I would rather have in my collection.

definitely flew. smallworld version is correct. 1 or 2 have been done in 400 scale by 'pan an models'.

when you look at the drawing JCW provided the livery looks different from the pic you posted.

  • cheatline is on the pax windows and not below
