#5 Looks like Qantas licencing have finally got their act together and approved the GJ model of Qantas new livery launched on VH-QPJ A330-300 on the 26th of October 2016. Qantas 787-9 delivery's start later in this year not even sure if the first one of QF's 787-9's is on Boeing's production line yet. So too early for a model of those 787's yet. Of course I have only ever been right in these clues once and that was because Marcuswong gave us a heads up on VH-OJA. So that's my guess at # 5 could be totally wrong. Where is Marcus these days ?

That's an interesting criteria for the Air Canada birds with the Sky Silver/toothpaste livery. So you only have the AC A321 and bypassed the rest of the AC models with the mint livery? That's a good way to keep the $$$ safe.

I took another approach; all the AC models in diecast with this livery have been released/painted based on how the sky/daylight was looking that particular day or if it was in the maintenance hangar under the flood lights. No deal breaker for me.

I do agree with your 777-200 wish, and it's only a matter of good time that it will eventually be rolled out by JC or Gemini. Cheers! T7

OK, based on the relatively easy hints given...

1.) TWA DC-1 (The only airline that actually got one.)
2.) American DC-2
3.) Eastern DC-3
4.) Northwest DC-4
5.) United DC-5 (The only airline that actually ordered them.)
6.) Northeast DC-6
7.) Delta DC-7 (Royal Crown Service)
8.) National DC-8

I have the E190 and Q400 also but had to sell the CRJ700, A319 and A330 because they looked horrible next to the earlier releases. I've pointed it out many times to GJ that the color is wrong and they just ended up blocking me on their facebook page.

Gemini will never ever release an LTU MD-11. I don't know why people think every month that a clue matches LTU. You set yourselves up for disappointment over and over again. It will never be done by them.

Nobody said they thought any of these clues would mean an LTU MD-11, but some people just hope and pray for something that isn't a corporate eurowhite bus with wings that mainly get churned out. We all know that most of geminis releases in 1:200 these days are corporate orders, we just wish that they weren't so we could see something like an LTU MD-11. Let's be honest, half of what Gemini releases ends up gathering dust on retailers stock rooms or going for peanuts on eBay eventually. If they listened to the fans, they'd sell a sh*t load more. I'm not denying that a lot of fleet builders are happy to get 5 different variants of the same aircraft with different reg numbers, but some of us just like things a little more, how would you say, exotic?

So it's week 10 (already) of 2017, so where are we at now with GJ release announcements? All good, and in due time I guess.
I see the guessing of GJ clues thread games clue writer and people responding has finished or has come to a end or so it seems

Posted yesterday on GJ's Facebook page:

'Expect the new announcement to occur on Thursday 09 MAR, barring any difficulties.
Please remember we try to announce by 12noon Pacific time
'
